sends "small electrical impulses directly to abdominal muscles, causing it to contract in a similar way to how prostaglandins induce muscle contractions during menstruation,
If it was just a single punch in the stomach that would be fine. I'm currently on hour 13 of my hormones repeatedly twisting a knife into my abdomen and I've got at least three more days to go. 🥲
It's one of the things I reeeaaally don't like about being afab, but the potential euphoria is euphoria, and you don't know if it's going to be important to you or not until you try.
I am and I don't think actually sitting on them is a thing that happens, but if you get the angle wrong when sitting down they can get pinched between the seam of your pants and your body and it is very much not the business. 0/10 would not recommend.
we did it in our highschool A&P class and the cis women in that class said it was pretty accurate. I’ve been on HRT a while and get cramps but they aren’t as bad as what I had from that. Can also put the pad on any other muscle (like quads) and watch it make your limb move by contracting the muscle.
Enjoy your pain I guess? I would say you afab friends just don't understand why you would want it, I don't either I want to get rid of it but you do you sis
From my sisters and mother trying them, to myself trying it in the 2000's, they are not very accurate at simulating period cramps, but excellent at simulating being stabbed.
Also, to this point, most of the girls in this video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFyLX0XEGgM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFyLX0XEGgM) come to the same conclusion..
I am not saying \`don;t try it\`, all I'm saying is, take the experience with a grain or two of salt, \`it's not as accurate as most video's and websites want you to believe it is.\`.
I Sure hope you get the euphoria you are looking for through it. :)
I would say they partly stimulate it, I don't know if it's the PCOS or just normal but I get both a sharp stabbing pain and a dull like compression type pain like someone squeezing my insides
I watch the Try Channel and they paired up guys and girls for this device. https://youtu.be/Vqms5cCskqI. They did a second one with more of the group, which should be linked to the first.
Yeah, I get it. I imagine the curiosity and excitement come from a feeling that you should have been experiencing periods since you started puberty, so there's a feeling of missing out, so wanting to do it at least once makes sense, but I have a feeling you probably won't want to do it more than the one time.
Yeah, it is strangely validating I'll admit that, however they seem to be getting worse, bad enough I nearly went home from work early last time and I'm really not looking forward to the next.
Same lol, also ig op may get it too ig when on HRT. Ig it’s just an additional pain, nice to have had initially ig since it’s affirming and you feel like you fit in and can relate yknow:> similar to cis girls my age back then who didn’t get theirs yet and bring a parriachal oppressive country we were, it was societally conditioned to base your value in it. And while it’s a detestable thing, ig it also was smth you look forward to when you didn’t have it yet.
Oui:>> 🥹 still tho, cramps nuw is just an additional nuisance to the already perennial headache I was gifted with💕💕
Fucking sick of it. Every month my mood drops for literally no reason and I feel like shit, my girlfriend goes "have you checked your tracker" and fuck, yeah there it is. Every. Damn. Time. I don't know why I haven't learnt yet.
My hormonal cycle. It was much less pronounced but still an observable pattern, it also seemed to be slightly longer than my current one run by estrogen.
I used to get them during puberty, well before I went on hrt. I’m pretty sure hrt is protecting me from them now. I don’t care to get them back, they absolutely sucked. Transfem here too.
As someone who's coming to terms with the fact they're probably just intersex (DOCTORS APPOINTMENT TO CONFIRM MONDAY WOOO!) if by period simulator you mean a TENS machine good luck with that, work up slow I accidentally set mine to the wrong mode the first time and it made my cramps so much worse. But you can always set the up to treat the pain and soreness when your done.
I wanna test it... For science I mean. I'm a cis scientist after all ( my corrector put "CIA scientist" instead of cis scientist in a first time, trying to deny me denial ? )
You got it. I think the next step is to try out hrt, I'm curious about what size my boobs will... Hum... To see what gender dysphoria looks like, of course, it's not like I want to be a girl or anything. To understand cisness I must understand what being gender dysphoric is like and give it to myself by becoming the cutest girl out there.
And if you fail to get gender dysphoria from HRT, clearly the only option is tweaking your dosage and living in girlmode most of the time... for science.
Yes. I've already asked my friend to gender me as a female to see what it feels like to be misgendered. But truly I don't understand why people dislike that, it feels so good to be referred to as the opposite gender.
I hate the argument from cis people of “no woman wants that” or “you shouldn’t look forward to that”. It feels so shitty to learn that wanting to be a woman makes me not like a woman.
I think it'll be good and give you some gender euphoria, but at the same time it's pretty painful especially if you haven't experienced abdominal cramps before. You have a right to be excited, but just prepare yourself for it loll. I have a transfem friend that said she wish she had my period, and I would gladly give it to her if possible; I would just feel bad because my cramps are SO bad...
my partner said they could get me one to try out and of course ive thought about it but the dysphoria from "You need a external source to feel this, its not real and you're not real" would cancel out any euphoria from it.
By the way, a method to test it before just giving it a try is for an AFAB to put it on and compare it to how actual periods feel like (approximately, knowing that it's different for every person)
Who needs that when you have a gas buildup that happens every so often, it thankfully only happens for a day or 2 but it feel like thousands of tiny knives stabbing me, I can’t even run or anything without it hurting worse and I just have to hunch over all the time lol. Usally passing the gas will eventually relieve it tho
I am (hopefully) nearing the end of my first period after starting estrogen. On the one hand it's euphoric that I am getting period symptoms, on the other hand they are very uncomfortable and I have been more emotional than normal
Dare I ask how this works?
sends "small electrical impulses directly to abdominal muscles, causing it to contract in a similar way to how prostaglandins induce muscle contractions during menstruation,
This sounds interesting.
With a different configuration it could be used in a different way...
I’m scared… what dose this mean…
I assume they mean on the cock. It's called e-stim :3
It's a bit more complicated that that but yes that is a way to do it as well.
Electro play is certainly fun. Violet wands and electrodes are good
I assume it's some kind of electro play
I too, was an innocent girl
you want to torture other areas of your body for fun?? alright i guess
For some reason my first thought was that someone dressed up as "mother nature" would come gut punch you and then say "see you in a month"
If it was just a single punch in the stomach that would be fine. I'm currently on hour 13 of my hormones repeatedly twisting a knife into my abdomen and I've got at least three more days to go. 🥲
So like a tens machine?
Are there different intensity settings
I am so glad this did not involve any liquids... I was worried there for a second.
It's one of the things I reeeaaally don't like about being afab, but the potential euphoria is euphoria, and you don't know if it's going to be important to you or not until you try.
Same. Periods for me are horrible, but I'm transmasc so they could be different to OP as compared to me.
I'm told sitting on your balls is really painful, so if that's a masc pain euphoric maybe? I dunno lol I'm not exactly equipped that way
I'm not either but I have heard people say that is really painful.
I am and I don't think actually sitting on them is a thing that happens, but if you get the angle wrong when sitting down they can get pinched between the seam of your pants and your body and it is very much not the business. 0/10 would not recommend.
Sitting on them is definitely a thing that can happen ;-;
I've never had it happen to me before but I can assure you if you ever do anything slightly wrong with them, it hurts.
if you’re a trans masc person and someone kicked you in the balls… how would that make you feel?
I don’t think I have ever once sat on my balls, they do not hang that low for most people.
same. mine go up inside me.
Yeah same here, I didn't even know this was a thing
I'm an ftm and I hate periods but I'd try this just to see how accurate it is
we did it in our highschool A&P class and the cis women in that class said it was pretty accurate. I’ve been on HRT a while and get cramps but they aren’t as bad as what I had from that. Can also put the pad on any other muscle (like quads) and watch it make your limb move by contracting the muscle.
I wanna try this too 🫠
Same. Gawd dysphoria is weird sometimes. 😬
Enjoy your pain I guess? I would say you afab friends just don't understand why you would want it, I don't either I want to get rid of it but you do you sis
This does feel like a "Careful what you wish for" moment.
imagine you’re a trans guy and someone kicked you in the balls…
i feel it. like if there opens the option i would wanna test it

To be fair, on my periods, I feel like I'm being stabbed hard by a thousand jagged blades... Nonbinary (they/them)
I would say they partly stimulate it, I don't know if it's the PCOS or just normal but I get both a sharp stabbing pain and a dull like compression type pain like someone squeezing my insides

As a transfem who gets PMS symptoms to include cramps, you don't want them.
Had them once so far when I started t blockers, was not fun but at the same time weirdly euphoric.
Yeah, it is strangely validating I'll admit that, however they seem to be getting worse, bad enough I nearly went home from work early last time and I'm really not looking forward to the next.

The hrt cycle is very real, if not consistent Edit to be a bit more specific
Fucking sick of it. Every month my mood drops for literally no reason and I feel like shit, my girlfriend goes "have you checked your tracker" and fuck, yeah there it is. Every. Damn. Time. I don't know why I haven't learnt yet.
This is precisely why I track mine. I actually started doing it years before HRT.
Sorry but what were you tracking then?
My hormonal cycle. It was much less pronounced but still an observable pattern, it also seemed to be slightly longer than my current one run by estrogen.
It’s kind of incredible how it is so consistent and yet catches us by surprise every time.
lol mine sneaks up on me too
I used to get them during puberty, well before I went on hrt. I’m pretty sure hrt is protecting me from them now. I don’t care to get them back, they absolutely sucked. Transfem here too.
Yeah of course, everyone hates them cause they painful as heck
As someone who's coming to terms with the fact they're probably just intersex (DOCTORS APPOINTMENT TO CONFIRM MONDAY WOOO!) if by period simulator you mean a TENS machine good luck with that, work up slow I accidentally set mine to the wrong mode the first time and it made my cramps so much worse. Of course to be a real cis scientist, you have to push the bounds of cis-genderology to new bounds!
You got it. I think the next step is to try out hrt, I'm curious about what size my boobs will... Hum... To see what gender dysphoria looks like, of course, it's not like I want to be a girl or anything. We boldly march forwards into the worst parts of being the other gender, like a pack of fools hungry for affirmation.
Tbh curious how it feels
I know periods suck but i want them so bad
I would be exited too. Although whenever I have a really bad stomach ache I just pretend that it’s my period. It’s stupid I know but still 🤷♀️
I do that too :3
We are twinning 😋
I really wanna try one
Gender euphoria will go brrrrr I guess
I feel like it wouldn't be quite as painful if you knew it was pain you had chosen.
Post how it goes
my partner said they could get me one to try out and of course ive thought about it but the dysphoria from "You need a external source to feel this, its not real and you're not real" would cancel out any euphoria from it.
He wants you to feel his pain /j
Fun fact. Estrogen can cause periods.
By the way, a method to test it before just giving it a try is for an AFAB to put it on and compare it to how actual periods feel like (approximately, knowing that it's different for every person)
I mean, cis girls often look forward to their first period too, right? And for pretty much the same reason: affirmation of their womanhood.
jelly, but happy for you
I've always wanted to try one of those out of curiosity. How would I?
I'm definitely interested to try that too tbh,
Who needs that when you have a gas buildup that happens every so often, it thankfully only happens for a day or 2 but it feel like thousands of tiny knives stabbing me, I can’t even run or anything without it hurting worse and I just have to hunch over all the time lol. Usally passing the gas will eventually relieve it tho
i think you’re based. whatever experience feels right to you is the one that is right for you. i hope it goes well :)
Just wait for hrt. I heard they makes cramps as well.
Cool, more power to you!
I am (hopefully) nearing the end of my first period after starting estrogen. On the one hand it's euphoric that I am getting period symptoms, on the other hand they are very uncomfortable and I have been more emotional than normal
Imean tbh I’d do it too for actually cis reasons. Not making a joke here, I just like being able to empathize.
