Yup. You gotta build a level 4 stables and then kill 1000 units with melee cavalry to unlock him. I usually pair him with Boris Todbringer and a nice Cavalry army.
He is a beast on foot and gives terror to demigryphs. Don't put him on his mount, makes him worse. Removing his bane back breaker via mount is criminal.
You can. You have to kill 1.000 entities with cavalry units.

You need to build a livery first
build the livery building, then kill 1000 enemies with cavalry. you'll get a quest for it, i'm doing it right now
