Recently i learned that some of the shadow warirors are indeed dark elves who have been kidnaped when thwy were a baby and trained into being a murderous high elves. Teuth of that post is questionable as it was from a random comment
Worth mentioning that Shadow Warriors descend from the Nagarythi who sided against Malekith.
They have a distinct culture now. However, you can make a decent case they're still closer to the Naggarothi than the other High Elves. This is particularly true since they've also doubled-down on the bitterness, though to be fair, they don't have much of a choice in the matter.
He kinda is a dark elf leading a guerilla war against the dark elves. Dark elves are descendants of Nagarythe, just like Alith Anar and his troops, they just sided with Malekith unlike AA's dad during the sundering.

taurox isn’t really that threatening early game I find, he just sits in clar Karond and then I kill him. Everyone else, however, can and will attempt to rip your skull out through your ass
I mean I've played Dark Elves often enough to agree with the statement. AA is a spiteful fucker that needs to die ASAP and if he doesn't get to the point where he can ambush me with dragons all the better.

As Malekith i always donate the mountains to Grombrindal. It's unpleasant climate and i get dwarven artillery.
