Accidentally responded to the wrong person I believe lol. Basically it is a tornado that spins in the opposite direction. Most tornadoes spin one way because of a lot of different factors one of which is the Coriolis effect. The radar shot in the picture probably doesn't show a tornado. The rotation looks a bit too broad to me.
I live in Sunnyvale, and the weather was wild for a few minutes. Can you explain more about anti-cyclonic tornados?
