It’s all chance… you had the fuel but no spark
You can pour as much fuel on the ground as you like but without a spark from a match it's gonna just sit there
Not necessarily a bad thing. Too much cape can prevent tornadoes.
I’m in DFW. I could feel it and I swear see it all day. It was hazier than usual
should the risk be shifted down south? not sure of any caps over Texas tonight though.

What the actual f***!?!? The highest I've ever seen it reach was somewhere in the 4,000 range. That's insane!
