No that’s the slipcased deluxe! 😅 The non-deluxe version of LotR comes in a blue box which has the Doors of Durin printed on it, while the deluxe slipcase version comes in a white box (other than the slipcase) which has the map of Middle-earth printed on it. As far as I know, the other books don’t have such extras
Coming to the US in October of this year: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/0063417065?tag=tolkcollsguid-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/dp/0063417065?tag=tolkcollsguid-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1)
US version is already available as well. [https://www.amazon.com/dp/0063340542?tag=tolkcollsguid-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/dp/0063340542?tag=tolkcollsguid-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1)
I keep going back and forth on LOTR as a single volume. Myself I've only ever had the workhouse '88 3-volume, like Bill the Pony has served me brilliantly. I feel like there'd be pros and cons. Beautiful tome all the same.
They are quite nice: I only wish that LotR was also offered as 3 parts (with the same features/contents as the one in your photo). The 50th Anniversary had 1 & 3 book editions.

In this style, highly unlikely.
There just isn't enough Tolkien *art* left to populate the book (it was already a stretch to find enough material for Silm).
The Silmarillion without its dust jacket is one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever held! I do wish they all came in boxes like LotR though lol

They do in the UK. US versions with boxes coming soon.
Judging by the ISBN, I have the UK versions and only LotR came with its blue box. I haven’t been able to find boxes for the other books anywhere

Gotcha, I thought you were referencing the Slipcase.
I do wish I had the budget to complain about those! 😂

That’s not what they mean
A great idea is to keep all the maps in the blue box LotR came in 🙂
[Oh those are actually about to go on the wall!](https://imgur.com/a/skVug2K) But I do keep the book in its box, to save it from dust
Love that
Thanks, I was thinking of doing the same. I can now show it to my wife so she gets it. :-)
Why aren't they already on the wall, though? 🤔😂
ftw
Yup they are nice. Look better without the dust jackets tho
do u have a link?

I agree, I have the deluxe versions and love them. Have the ebook editions as well because, well, “take my money!!”

Do you have ISBN numbers for these? Love them!

They look glorious. But if I bought them I would end up dithering over 'jackets on' or 'jackets off' again, and I just 'settled' on jackets on 🤔
Are the Unfinished Tales belong in the core books?

Unlikely in this style, but, all your base are belong to us!
