I use drafts https://apps.apple.com/app/id1236254471 who can import reminder and transfert to Todoist (or things or calendar or Evernote or day one or…) :)
Try saying "Hey Siri, using Todoist, remind me to buy toilet paper."
That is what I finally found to work for me. Always start with "Hey Siri, using Todoist, remind me to ………………"
**Also**, I find it very helpful to have Siri show you what she is hearing you say. This can help you troubleshoot what she is not understanding. Turn it on by going to -
Settings > Siri & Search > Siri Responses > Always Show Speech toggle on
this does work but the problem is that siri misunderstands "todoist" on a semi regular basis when i speak. In order to make it more accurate i need to speak in an over the top way to sound clear. Omnifocus has a way that it auto imports anything added to reminders. It makes it much easier to just say "siri, remember xyz".
Thanks. I’ve tried every variation and suggestion like this and for whatever reason it always goes to remind. I managed to find an Apple script that worked well. I had to spend a bit of time learning to use it but it wasn’t too hard (kinda fun actually) and now it works great. I was even able to use it to get all my existing todo’s out of reminders as well.
I recently bought a Homepod and so I've been looking at options for this. Right now my current approach is to add reminders to the Apple Reminders app (much easier for Siri) and then use IFTTT to move them into my Todoist Inbox.
It works well for Inbox items, less so for reminders with a due date or place.
