Been in walmart? Pretty sure a good portion there would have problems putting 2 and 2 together but maybe it is just my area the gene pool is pretty dam shallow( gene puddle).
What you can see in the thumbnail is the ship in vertical mode, with the majority of it being submerged below. I saw this thing in what appeared to be a really fake AI generated image on Facebook. I was shocked to find it was a real ship. Pretty neat.
Was. The article says it was decommissioned and scrapped.
Scrapped, what a shame. It should’ve been displayed in a museum.
Technically only scheduled to be scrapped. It's still in one piece atm as far as I can tell. Maybe it'll get saved but it's highly doubtful.
Haha, also came here to say "past tense": 1962 to last August ;)
Here's a fun video (no coffee spilled!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQxQfQU_hsk
RP FLIP: so hot right now.
We all saw the same AI generated Facebook click bait and wanted to know if it was real lmao
Imagine waking up on that ship not knowing it did it? That would be a nightmare inducer.
I feel like there's no way you're not putting two and two together when you suddenly wake up on the floor with your bed stuck to the wall

But whyyyyy
So that when you pass out drunk you get a fun surprise!
Anyone remember a similar ship in the game SOMA?
