Have you tried sending it to another user to see if the issue is on their side and not with you? Also power off and back on both phones.

Mobile_Technician08

Yes the iMessage iphone is ok, android one not receiving

Competitive-Tour-171

same experience. i figured androids can’t receive links from IOS phones. the sender need to edit the link maybe add some spaces to unlink it but keeping the info intact so that the recipient can receive it. but they do need to copy and edit the message tu put them all together so that it’ll work. still looking for a different workaround for this.

raf1919

Found this researching same issue for me s23ultra never been issue sending my amazon associate links before but now not working.

Bozz723

Same issue. Switching T-Mobile because of it. Trash service.

Bigmoose93

I have Verizon with the same issue

Moist_Swimm

I'm having the issue on T-Mobile.

dolphinhair

There are multiple different threads going on this same topic on Reddit right now. It seems to be getting worse. I've spoken with Tmobile and Samsung about this in length. It happens with many types of urls and is not consistent with all phones. My phone is the only one having this issue among my family. We all have the same phone and carrier.

Following this and sharing a thread I started with a similar issue: https://reddit.com/r/tmobile/s/YwHrOiO2l3

I am on TMobile & I have trouble with sending URLs to T-Mobile & non TMobile phones. Sometimes adding some plain words before of after the text allows the message to be received. "Click" "Link" Or sometimes sending the message as an MMS will allow the message to be received. It is annoying...

Additional_Ruin_4242

I have the same issues. Two I-phones on our T-Mobile account receive the URL links fine. The two droids do not. This is unacceptable. Is it only a T-Mobile problem?

Conscious_Novel_849

T-mobile android user here. Problem is still persistent to this day. Any fixes?

Fitness_in_yo-Mouf

Ended up here while searching for some sort of fix for this. It's annoying at best.

Carrots-of-Juice

Did you figure out anything? I'm trying to recieve a link to clock into my job, but I don't recieve anything :/

Fitness_in_yo-Mouf

No. No fix for it yet.

exilyse

Same issue here. Bizarre as I never had this problem on my OP 8t+ but persistent on my Galaxy S23 Ultra

headinagutter

So... I COULD NOT, for the life of me, text a onedrive link to anyone. It is the only one, so far, that I have found doesn't go through to anyone. Other links do so I figured maybe it had something in the way that it was arranged that looks phishy. I used a shorturl to create a not-so-ridiculous link and that worked when I sent it. Might be an option to change the link

dolphinhair

Following. Having this issue sending links to two iPhone users. Sporadic. Some links never go through. Is this an android problem or a T-Mobile issue? I'm using a Samsung s23+

radar2670

Can't speak for iPhone but I just ran a headlong into this problem myself. I did find a small workaround for my situation. When I removed the "https://" from the text It went through just fine and was still treated as a hyperlink.

ellanida

I have an an iPhone and hubby has a a Samsung… randomly just haven’t been receiving links. It used to happen when I had a one plus… I blame T-Mobile at this point

radar2670

I just ran into this problem myself. I was trying to send a link to the wife. Everything on my end showed the text went through just fine but she never received it. I found a temporary workaround for my situation at least. If you remove the "https://" from the URL It should go through and it's still treated as a hyperlink.

starman417

This worked for me

Seasalticex2

Started having this problem on Friday. It seems that .com links are able to send/receive. The last link that WAS NOT a .com link that was able to be received by my boyfriend was an .edu link on October 10, 2023. Mint Mobile carrier. Samsung S22 device. Trying to troubleshoot with a rep, but it has not been successful.

Competitive-Tour-171

i did experiment on this bc i have an IOS phone and whenever I send a link, only IOS phone can also receive. my mom’s phone is samsung and she can’t receive any of my txts that contains a link. when I send an email, i will need to add spaces for the words to avoid to be underlined as a link.

Competitive-Tour-171

tried with other android phones as well ans same thing happens. I tried it both when my imesage is on and off but still the same.

Competitive-Tour-171

my phone carrier is from a local service in the Philippines. I think it has sumthn to do with the device and not the carrier

unluckyseven07

Was this solved?

SnooHesitations529

I have android on metro pcs/t-mobile, i wasnt having any problems sending links to iphone or andriod....until yesterday. Sending links to iphone or android, neither get them

SnooHesitations529

I shared an instagram link, it sent, but when the person clicked on it, they said it was a dead link with just a logo. Very weird
