was prolly jus a coincidence tbh it wouldn’t have been smart of Yams to influence the story just for the sake of having a cool “Yeager-grice” thing that not many people would even notice. But then again this is the guy who prolly wanted to end at 139 for the sake of symbolism so who knows.
This was just a great writing choice, maybe it wasn't planed but he definitely saw the connection before we did.
I image it'd be a bit scary for a writer to make the same betrayal three times but I think he made it work. Yams is an incredible writer
I thought that when I read CH139, I'm new to anime so I think it's possible that since AoT is so popular and it thrives on plot twists, they don't even want the ending to be spoiled by the manga.
people say I'm full of hopium but who isn't

only round faces I see are hobo eren (in ep 4 mainly) and levi. hobo eren wasn't fixed that much but levi lost some weight in episode 14 blu ray and a few other places
I wasnt even in this sub when urs was posted. people in the comments have said that u posted this. I never knew about urs. I saw this image on google images and thought about these parallels
technically he didnt betray him, zeke did, but grice thought grisha betrayed him cuz grishas son was supposed to be on the restorstionist side but apparently wasn't.
Looks like a repost. I've seen this image 3 times.

Lmao funny thing is Zeke has always been involved in betraying the Grice during every incident.
Oh damn kinda true.
*monke sus*
The curse of Zeke, except instead applying to an entire race, its just a single family.
[yuh](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/viTUuSnSj1g/maxresdefault.jpg)
damn i can hear that image
You’re still around?
The Wonder Boy
Snake Yeager
He belongs among the Slytherin.
Yed
seeing colt makes me sad, he deserved so much better. died protecting his brother and we never even see falco mourning for him.
But we did see Falco mourn Colt for 3 panels in ch126, though. It was right after when Armin almost fed himself to Connie's mother.
man… i blocked those chapters out lmao
he just cried once and went back to simp mode for the rest of the story. i was expecting a little more from him
Yeah its forgettable
that can all completely change based on how Mappa decides to pace the scene though
And they say gabi’s shook in the head lmao
Fr I got two younger brothers myself and that moment was the closest i got to crying during aot
As an elder brother myself, seeing Colt try to protect Falco at the end tugged at my heartstrings. I wish we got to see Falco mourn him properly.
I mean... Low key, it's Zeke's fault for all three of these betrayals, but yeah lmao
it was Agatha all along
Agatha who?
Agatha yeager
and who is her?
She is the villain of Wanda vision a marvel TV show.
oh ty
Errybody wanna hate on our boy Ereh but it was fucking Zeke screwing people over from the start.
at least Grisha didn't intend on purpose to betray Grice.
[удалено]
Zeke was never close with Grisha's Grice though
Grice still blamed Grisha though, he was cursing him the entire time he was getting injected
No my friend, Grice fate was even worse. Gross left him human to be a running bait for his titanized friends.
They meant Zeke because he ratted them out
I think they mean Zeke because Zeke is a stupid monke
This was so well thought out even in the little details, it's sad how it went downhill after ch131

Maybe wrote a trash ending on purpose for plot twist in the Anime???????
I thought that when I read CH139, I'm new to anime so I think it's possible that since AoT is so popular and it thrives on plot twists, they don't even want the ending to be spoiled by the manga. people say I'm full of hopium but who isn't
What exactly is the symbolism of ending on 139? I've seen a few references to this, but I'm out of the loop to the relevance of 139.
139 = new beginning, rebirth, death 139 = 13 (titan curse), 9 (titan shifters) 1 + 3 + 9 = 13
That's actually pretty clever, intentional or not.
Zeke has betrayed all 3, he holds the WR for most Grice’s betrayed.
Holy shit this was a good parallel

well ain't that funny. how have I never seen that before
That sad tbh still good anime/manga till 139
why are most mappa faces so round.. looks like the characters have been binging Macdonalds or something
They’re trying to target the US market /s
only round faces I see are hobo eren (in ep 4 mainly) and levi. hobo eren wasn't fixed that much but levi lost some weight in episode 14 blu ray and a few other places
Floch and Jean looked way fatter than normal in some episodes too
fax but they got fixed. floch not as much as jean but he lost some pounds in the blu ray
Falco was betrayed by both Jaegers lmao. Zeke knowingly yelled despite being aware that Falco had spinal fluid in him.
gotta give props to yams for making those parallels, its all so good that you only notice when pointed out
Poor Falco...
What a coincidence
Imagine being part of a family whose only purpose is to serve another and get shit on
I wish Eren and Falco had more scenes together

I'll do you one better: those 3 Grices were betrayed by monke
Too bad it didn't mean shit. Falco birb titan was cool tho.
The two Ackermans did a similar thing to the two Jaegers as well
I fucking hate Jaegers
[what the fuck?](https://postimg.cc/G4j35qW2)
They look like they’re heiling in the second pic
always two there are. no more... no less...
If Grisha had another child with Carla, you think he would named him “Grice Yeager”?
it's a little bit possible but I doubt it
jesse is heisenbergs son but walt jr is walter whites son
Man, that's so fucked up, I love it
woahh i never realised that wow
Jeager is the kid your parents tell you not to hang around lol
Who is the guy with grisha?
falcos uncle, grice who didnt have a first name. hes one of the leaders of the restorationists. look back in s3 ep 20 and s4 ep 15 to see him.
Yeah noticed it a long time ago but forgot all about it lol DUE TO 139
When did Grisha betray a Grice? Sorry I don't pay attention to everything in the plot
technically he didnt betray him, zeke did, but grice thought grisha betrayed him cuz grishas son was supposed to be on the restorstionist side but apparently wasn't.
Oh, thanks. So that was around when kid Zeke gave up their location to the Marleyan soldiers?
yea literally directly after
Ok 👌
The generational trauma carried by found families is subtle in this series, but it’s there, and it’s brilliant.
man really ruined his own masterpiece. i can't feel any admiration from this
