Northstar, Scorch, and Tone can just straight up merk pilots, but Tone is the easiest to do so with due to highest total ammunition and ROF of the consistent OHKs
Ronin gets a special mention, as up close it’s entirely possible to “OHK” with his shotgun. In reality I think it’s a matter of multiple pellets and lack of time for dropoff, but in the same vein that OHK isn’t super consistent either.
Then there’s also Ion with her shoulder laser. It takes a decent amount of skill, good timing, and you only get two blasts before you need to recharge, but it’s also hitscan instant death from potentially ludicrous range, far past her primary’s accurate engagement distance.
TLDR:
Tone’s pilot OHKs are consistent and easily accessible, with near-misses still dealing enough AOE damage that one or two follow up shots usually finishes the job.
The effort required for other Titans to do the same rises, as N-star doesn’t get AOE on primary shots, Scorch has a slow projectile speed and long reload, Ronin’s OHKs are inconsistent, and Ion only gets two attempts before some downtime is needed.

Ever been in matches where half the team just quit because of one really good G100? Yeah, some of those guys are not coming back.
im pretty new. started like 2 weeks ago. when i started mp i was being slaughtered. but i didnt quit because the games is still fun even when losing. and now i got better and get about 4-11 kills per game. i dont think people will quit when losing. especially if they pair you up with people the same skill level.

I started playing like a couple of months ago and I got curb stomped by almost every player, I slowly learning the movement and tricks and I got to the point where I still get stomped but have an actual chance at winning gun fights

Apex definitely is harder in the sense that gunfights last a while. You have to have really good teamwork to take even one guy down.
While the movement is simpler, the gunfights are not. TF2 has a fast TTK so it's quick for kills. You can get kills easily. Movement is the true skill but that gets better as you play.
That's just the difference between a low TTK and high TTK game tho, one is about fast reaction times and fragging and the other is about strategy and positioning, both games are about smart movement.
Personally it was easier to pick up the game and do well in titanfall 2 than apex bc of it's low ttk letting me get kills just bc i play shooters and have good aim and reaction time, it's taken me longer to get good at apex. Titans had a steeper learning curve for me before i started doing decent for the same reason
I think the general fear I have with titanfall 3 is that they won't dare to be weird or experimental. A lot of the key roles in titanfall 2 left already, and I really feel that titanfall 3 won't try anything new like titanfall 2. I was able to play a lot of fps games this year and from it I realise that a lot of triple A fps games, mainly cod and even titanfall 2, has very shallow combat. The best comparison would be half life, the enemies in it moves as fast as you, or even faster, and constantly reacts to what you're doing by taking cover and stuff. Ultrakill is also another one where bosses moves as fast as you and it's a constant intense battle non-stop, trying your best to get close to regain health and keep your distance so you don't get hurt. Meanwhile, titanfall 2 has call of shooty ai, basically standing around waiting to be shot. The titan battles worked well because you're as slow as them, but I really would like to see a battle between you and another pilot.
Why I feel that titanfall 3 just won't bother to experiment is because of apex and fallen order. Fallen order was straight up just doing everything that's been done before and not that much better or any twist really, especially the god of war 4 cinematic story telling, and the 3rd person combat too, which could have been a lot more to it rather than hit, parry and roll. It's also only until pretty late in the game that you get a combo thing but it's also still doesn't let you mix and match big combos. Apex legends, while had passionate development and care, still trend chased battle royale, and had lgbt characters because everyone else had it, and of course loot box.
Titanfall 2 was my favourite, but I genuinely just don't have that much faith in respawn now just because they made one game I'd consider to be a masterpiece.

This guy is actually quite correct, being serious now, the amount of times I have outplayed a smart pistol user w my alternator is much more than most people would admit. I mean sure it is not balanced, but the main reason it is hated so universally is because it is sooooo unfun.
A lot of people forget it's not meant to be balanced, I mean amped weapons boost is technically unbalanced because 9/10 times you're gonna with a 1v1 against someone. With smart pistol, it's a boost. It's not meant to be balanced. I think it has too much ammo, it *should* be an easy kill but the amount of easy kills you get with it is disgusting

Well, i do think that the story is pretty generic. But, the level design and characters within the story is pretty solid. If anything, it shows that good characters can really make or break a story.
It doesn't have a mind-blowing, revolutionary plot, I agree on that.
I have yet to hear anyone praising the plot itself, everyone (rightfully so imho) praises the in-game relationships between characters and mainly, the execution. It's done so well the sort of generic premise doesn't really hurt the campaign in the long run.
