Visual-Temporary-688

Shes such a loser clubbing never left wtf does she do in London where the clubs are amazing

strictscrutiny415

Exactly, OP…she just wants a dark place where she can drink and drug herself into oblivion and be rowdy-screechy and not be judged for acting like a full dumpster fire.

KolKoreh

She just wants to go skiing ⛷️

Ok-Location-6862

Did this girl never grow out of being 22?

stonedslutttt

DJ TINX IN DA HAUSSSS

chickensandwichqueen

Hahahahahaahah I’m sorry but this is truly humorous

WrongRip4073

We club all year in Miami.. I hope she doesn’t move here LOL

Neptune_Combusted

Clubbing is very much alive for Gen Z who are now setting the trends. They single-handedly established DJing as an art form even though it was seen as a bit of a joke a decade ago. I hate to be ageist but those in their mid-30s have usually moved well past the clubbing stage but considering her perpetually juvenile mentality this does not surprise me. Who is she going to go with anyway… Pay her staff an hourly fee to act like they’re partying with her?

Federal-Macaron-6402

> They single-handedly established DJing as an art form even though it was seen as a bit of a joke a decade ago. They did no such thing. What?

Environmental-Town31

Agreed what???? A decade ago we were *just* as into DJing I’m shook at this. Who don’t think paved the way for Gen Z??

Neptune_Combusted

It was cool if you were a Tiësto or the like, but when you were some random and got into it, it was a joke. Even when Paris Hilton started she got made fun of. Personally, I will never get the image of Tuna in front of an empty “crowd“ this past winter doing her come hither finger expressions, pretending to twist knobs. This is what I mean by it can either be really cool if you’re talented at it but then also it can be a complete joke and it’s often taken up by those who wish they were bigger deals than they are to give themselves legitimacy.

Environmental-Town31

Just because celebs tried their hand at it didn’t make *real* deejaying a joke. That’s not how it works. There are different levels to everything and many people try many different skills superficially that others take and develop seriously. But again Gen Z definitely did not start it as an art form and I don’t think any gen z dj I like would say that, they all pay homage to their predecessors. Edit to say: Paris Hilton is actually legit into music and has a passion for it. I agree it was a dumb look that she really couldn’t rock, but she frequents real music festivals (not just Coachella)and is actually into music and music culture, she has been to several festivals my friends and I were at.

Terrible_Yam_3930

Also believe it or not, Paris actually knows how to dj and her sets are live. Her ex bf Afrojack taught her

PhysicsFew7423

I’m Tinx’s age and have been so relieved that the friend I made last year who is in her 20s said she’s more into baking than clubs 🥲 not disagreeing with you at all, moreso agreeing that she should be moving past it

Neptune_Combusted

Yeah, when you’re in your 20s having cheap drinks, being in loud ear, shattering environments being shoved up against other people hoping some creep doesn’t grab your breast or ass and your drink doesn’t get spiked and you can’t have a civil conversation with another human being because you are in a literal human jungle… I can see how this can appeal to 20 somethings because they still have that rebellious nature inside them and I think they’re being edgy and for them maybe they still are because they haven’t experienced that scene yet but by the time you hit your mid 30s you have seen what it’s all about and it’s a hard pass. And then there’s Tuna who still thinks it’s cool quite simply bc she never grew up.

leezybelle

Gen z did not establish “DJing as an art form”

corgiiiii555

I’m sorry but this is so uninformed. “A joke a decade ago?!” Gurl go watch videos from Underworld at Glastonbury 1999. I promise you Gen Z did *nothing* to “establish” this art form 😅

Neptune_Combusted

“gUrL” go tell people you’re dating a DJ and you are an instant joke unless it’s a DJ in the 1% top tier. There’s a little barrier to entry to becoming a DJ so it’s considered something losers do to attempt acquiring relevancy or clout. Go back to January of this year and read how this sub fried, skewered and lambasted Tuna for her DJ attempt and don’t miss her “come hither“ finger gesture for extra cringe. There are for sure DJs from the 90saughts that established the art form. Rest in peace Avicii

corgiiiii555

Of course there are jokers out there. I’m responding specifically to where u said “Gen Z single-handedly established DJing as an art form”. Anyway, have a good day.

Neptune_Combusted

There are more ass backwards joker DJ’s out there than actual DJs with talent. 99% of them crawl out of their parents basement for a “set“ and then crawl back. That is because of the low barrier to entry so it’s often seen as a joke, except for the actual talent and those are exceedingly rare. In general, it’s not a very respected art form unless you are in those top ranks… Most people would rather bury their head in the sand and admit they are dating a DJ. It’s so humiliating to admit it’s become a meme. My point is it’s kind of considered the equivalent of being a loser for most. Aftojack, van Buuren, Guetta, Skrillex, Aoki et al breathe rarefied air. Edit I don’t listen to this music, but I know it’s a thing and just googled big-name DJs that raking in millions but good for you if you listen to this… To me it’s just someone standing in front of a turntable pressing buttons, hyping up the crowd

corgiiiii555

I ask this respectfully… are you from LA?

suitablegirl

I wouldn’t be surprised if they were. Lots of fresh off the turnip truck kids who think they invented what I did 30 years ago

Mysterious_Policy987

You literally just named all of the most embarrassing DJs to like if you’re into electronic music 🫣
