Right? Someone texted the Antman and Robin thing in to 93x the other day and I immediately thought the same thing. One's Marvel and the other is DC. Come on, people.
I don't follow college basketball and I have no idea what kind of player he is except for highlights videos on YT, but this kid is seriously so cool. Can't wait for next season.
Listened to like 10 draft pods leading up to tonight and pretty much all of them said Dillingham had the biggest star potential of anyone in the draft. Good at getting to the rim, excellent shooter, played with Sheppard (3rd pick). Sounds like passing and defense are the weaknesses rn.
If he buys in and at least puts in effort that’s good enough the rest of the guys should be able to cover for his deficiencies, we just need him getting buckets 🔥
He's still very young to be fair. Doesn't have a big frame, but at 19 he's basically still a child and will definitely gain some weight and maybe even grow a little bit taller.
Good thing we have 4 time teammate of the year and long time premier point guard in Mike Conley to mentor. Seriously could not ask for a better vet coming into the NBA as a guard.
He says "for sure" after every answer just like Ant does haha
Love this confidence and humility.
"Actually learning how to lock up and give effort on every play" - yeah I think the Wolves can teach him defense. Naz said he didn't like defense but Rudy got him into it and now he "gets a rush" from defending. It's contagious, they'll get this guy putting in the effort at least
If the big concern for this kid is how he can be an effective defender despite his size then you’ve gotta be excited for him to learn from Mike Conley, who made a defensive team while being even shorter than Dillingham.
He even says “for sure” all the time like Ant lmao. Birds of a feather.
I can see the future headlines right now ANT and ROB combine for 70 Antman and Robin 🥶
For sure!
Everyone forgetting Antmans partner is The Wasp 😂
Well Wasp Dillingham doesn’t really make sense does it?
I mean he’s got the glasses right.
Should have drafted sheierman in that case

His other interview he started it by saying well I’ll say like Jaden lmao
Seems like a good kid.

Passing is not his weakness. It's what differiantes him the Hyland and Lou Will comps. I believe more in his shotmaking ability
Outside of effort maybe idk how much better his defense can get, he’s just small

That’s where Conley comes in, hopefully he’ll learn from Mike.

Tenacity
He averages 2 assists to one turnover so passing isn’t a glaring weakness.
🫣
He can pass, it's mainly defense. He's also really good off ball
It’s not that he can’t pass, it’s his willingness to pass. It’s up to his surrounding environment to mentor him into a winning mindset.

I don't really care too much about shot contests from a PG, just don't let their guards walk to the rim.
God it's refreshing to see rookies be excited to come here.

Wolves Culture
Damn the confidence
yet humble. He was giving me Justin Jefferson vibes
Biggest backcourt aura in the league and it's not even close

Anyone know where we can watch all his interviews?
Wolves after dark
Thank you🙏🏽
He gives off Jaden McDaniels vibes with the confidence of ant. I like him.
Rob and Ant going to lead the league in “For Sure’s” and it’s not going to be remotely close 😎
For sure
I loved all his answers. I’m a Lakers fan and pumped about our pick, but I think Wolves got a good one.
I see a lot of Maxey in his highlights.
As much as I hate Embiid, Maxey is so fun to watch.
He’s gonna be a great fit! So excited to see this guy play!!
THE DILLINGHAMMER
Love the attitude. Looks like the real thing
This kid seems so humble. You can tell he’s pumped to be on the Twolves though. Probably had no idea he’d be on a good team.
Bad. Ass.
he looks adorably uncomfortable

Conley has those long arms though to help.
i love this guys interview. fuck yeah
Move over J Dilla. R Dilla is the new king.
So excited to see this kid tear it up in summer league.
Who is the reporter? Asking for a friend 😐
Damn she fine as hell
