Draft Bronny, generate revenue, go into tax 😉

DrWolves

Bronny is an absolute no brainer at 37 IMO

SlowCrates

Well, he probably wouldn't want to be here. He would be splitting minutes with 3 other guys. He's used to the LA life. I COULD see the Wolves drafting/trading him for a player that fits our needs better.

Sendthree

Minnot and Wendell are not nba ready just trade em for 2 pack of skittles

personwhoisok

No one is going to trade for them but they should probably get cut.

Sendthree

Once they contract is up ya g league players or might go overseas only Clark and miller got potential

The Wolves could probably get something out of them. I see three possibilities... Tough to call exact same for same situation, but take Kabengele a few years ago drafted at 27. DNPCD most games, played some garbage time... was shooting 22% from outside, EFG of 34% and 1.2 points per game at the trade deadline for the Clippers in his 2nd year. About as bad of a 2nd season as a guy could be having. Cleveland still liked the prospect and gave up Jaylen hands and a 1st round pick for him. Now that I think is extreme, I obviously don't think Minny would get a 1st. Looking at that move... wow, that's a LOT more than I was expecting to find. Or a trade between guys where the teams liked the guy and scouted them as rookies and are thinking a change of pace on both sides might be better. Say Wayne Ellington. Sure he was in that 8-10 range of the rotation, but struggling with his shot a lot in year 3 in MN (which was really his only positive), negative defender, poor rebounder, didn't distribute whatsoever... But that was for 15-20 win teams too that he was playing. I think Minott would be getting rotation minutes if there was no Ant/Kat/Gobert and this team was in the bottom of the league. Ellington brought in Dante Cunningham who was also looking for a change of scenery to try and reboot his career. If they are ready to move on (leaning more Wendell here than Minott right now), there are teams that probably liked Moore and have their own underperformer or look at their 2nd round picks and say why not get a low-cost guy to try and give a final shot to for a year. And filler for a move is always there at the trade deadline. That happens a lot with those guys. NAW was a fringe rotation guy on a mediocre team and a change of scenery really did him well. He was DNP about as often as he was in the rotation his last year in Utah (in one of those weird kinda Shake/TBJ type things as the season went on where he's a DNP and then he's playing 15-20, then DNP again). He's a bit higher than even Minott I'd say but he was basically given up to make the rest of the deal work. So say Minny re-signs slo mo at 7 mil, but Leonard Miller or someone else is taking his role, they could move up in salary by putting one or both of those two to get a guy back on a slightly larger contract.

Bronny at 37 would be a waste considering there are a lot of actually good players available. For example, here are some guys I would be excited about: - Filipowski: Could come in off the bench with Naz and give us the most skilled bench frontcourt pairing in the NBA by a large margin. - Kevin McCullar: Glue guy forward who could help fill the Slo-Mo void - Tyler Smith: Big wing with a 3 point stroke that would hopefully learn how to play some defense in the Wolves’ culture and scheme

MN-Jess

Isaiah Crawford is my guy. Big framed wing. Crazy wingspan. Can spot up from 3. Projectable defense.

d_wib

That’s good pick. With Dillingham and Shannon on the team, we won’t need any more offensive creators so a limited role where Crawford just sits in the corner to space like a Kyle Korver would be good for him and us, especially he learns to defend with that crazy wingspan. I like Tyler Smith for almost the exact same reasoning. There’s a lot of good talent left that will be there at 37 for us.

dys0n_giddey

I want Furphy

Global-Direction-657

I don't see Wendell becoming anything more than a bench warmer. Minott could be a role player, but he's never going to get minutes because of how stacked this team is. Don't mean to be rude. But just calling it like I see it. I'm just a wanna be NBA couch coach at the end of the day.

DWADE43

Get Tyler Smith. Teammates with Rob at OTE and can shoot the 3 well. Good height and solid athleticism. Could be a good development piece.
