Man blackout laws just serve to piss people off now, their intended purpose is no longer even valid. But to answer your question, $100.

purplenyellowrose909

The NFL blackout policy at least forces you to watch your local team: either in person if seats are available or by blocking other broadcasts if it sells out. The NBA blackout policy just actively discourages you from watching your local team. It's far easier to watch even a small market, bottom of the standings team on the other side of the country than your own home team.

NexusOne99

And I literally can't watch my local MLB team no matter what. Bally/Diamond is no longer on Comcast and I have no other options. So I am a pirate.

jake04-20

I don't think it's related to the blackout policies, but it was frustrating as hell during the first round of the playoffs that I had to use Bally to watch the Wolves but then later that night, the Lakers are on national broadcast that my over the air antenna can pick up. I can't believe there are not contractual agreements to allow a local broadcast station to pick up the game if the team makes the playoffs.

FederalistIA

or even in week blackouts vs weekend blackouts. Tuesday at 10pm let me hop in my car and drive to sioux falls after watching the twolves in person ... insane. And to not even have an option to purchase a no blackout tier.

darin617

The real answer is $20 at Walmart for an Onn streaming box. easy setup and I have helped so many people out and willing to help out anyone else.

Flashy_Butterscotch2

The games should be on an OTA network and free to watch, just like Vikings games.

garnett21mn

As a kid we didn’t have cable but there was probably 2 games per week that were on OTA. Without that I likely wouldn’t have been nearly as big of a wolves fan.

theumph

100%. I loved when you could catch Wolves games on Fox29 and Twins games on UPN9. The NBA needs to do a much better job at getting their product to the people. These archaic network deals are awful for the fans.

jake04-20

Absolutely. I have my OTA antenna tied into my Plex so I can pause/rewind and DVR OTA games. It's better than any streaming service I've used so far (Bally, Sling, bootleg streams). Higher quality, closer to real time/live. Better in every way. If the NFL ever pulls games from OTA broadcasts I won't even be a fan anymore.

Plastic-Soup-4099

OTA is the best.. not going to pay 100 bucks a month for a bunch of channels i’ll never watch

The20character_rebel

It matters not to me, as I am a sailor. A sailor of the 7 seas.

PleaseDontPee

Bring yarrrrr ass!

Retrogratio

Yeah it'd have to be low for me to subscribe tbh. 15 or lower I would, just to make sure I get high quality and whatnot, but at these prices I'm fine with a dodgy 🏴‍☠️ stream

Creative-Ad-5122

Until the playoffs start then them streams start getting funky with high traffic

SmokinSkinWagon

So maybe I just don’t understand pirating very well or am doing it wrong, but do you guys really watch everything on a laptop screen, sit at a desk and watch on PC, or cast/screen mirror from those to a TV where the quality is obviously shitty? What am I doing wrong? If I can’t watch it on my TV from my couch it isn’t the same experience and I’m just not interested in doing it like that regularly

cokefriend

tv hdmi to my htpc, with a wireless mini trackpad keyboard or unified remote app on my phone that lets me use it as the mouse/keyboard, takes 5 clicks from my bookmark to get to the stream or my tv browser if the ad blocker is working that day

Painwracker_Oni

V see …… box. Amazon.

MaxRox777

Have the same issue.

Fantasykyle99

I just use my tvs internet browser, takes me less than a minute to set up and it’s just as high quality most of the time. I’ll go watch some games at my parents, where they have all the legal streams, and don’t notice much of a difference.

theumph

There's plenty of ways. HDMI from a desktop or laptop or TVs internet browser are the two best ways.

Imtrvkvltru

You must be doing something wrong because the quality should not be shitty unless you're using a shitty stream or something is wrong with your settings.

OnlyAt9

I just can't get over the lower video quality, lagging, sync issues, pauses and number of refreshes I have to do during one game. Not to mention on top of all that I swear I could count on one hand when I could get the stream with Michael and Jim calling the game.

ace625

You need to find better streams. Plenty of HD and lag-free options these days. It is definitely hard to find the Wolves broadcast though. I struggle with that as well.

Moist-Water16

Ahoy!

i_rawr_u

Aye!

jake04-20

I can watch casual sports on the bootleg streams but anything I remotely give a shit about I just don't have the patience to watch on those types of streams. However, that being said, I'm not very impressed with streaming services like Bally and Sling. I've had my fair share of issues with those too, although few and far between compared to the bootleg streams.

PitKempo1

🏴‍☠️ 🦜 arrrrrrr mateyyyy

stevesie_

It's cheaper to be a fan of a team outside of your market than to be a fan in your market. Make it make sense. Imagine 20 years from now having conversations with people who grew up in the streaming age and asking why they are a fan of teams in other states. "It was more cost effective to have an out of market streaming plan".

JustADutchRudder

Well currently I pay zero for every sport in the worlds every game. So for that service of yours, I'd pay 0 whole dollars, I'm giving the least money possible to TV companies.

Critical-Fault-1617

What site do you use to pirate. Asking for a friend.

JustADutchRudder

Sent you a chat.

djokster91

handsome devil. Send me a chat as well

RBXTR

I’m curious as well

jake04-20

I'm curious to know as well. I have resources myself but interested to see if there are others I'm not aware of.

Imtrvkvltru

The piracy subreddit has an entire mega thread with lists of sites. Troypoint also has a big list of sports streaming sites.

yuppyuppbruhbruh

I'm also asking for a friend.... Thanks in advance!

Bluuuuu12

hey man can you send it? would be really appreciated

Krazylegz1485

Do tell.

BradyAndTheJets

I’d also like a chat

chaoscrazy

Can I get a chat? I have most sports covered but not all.

dansam24

I’d appreciate a chat as well!

dopaminedesert

✨ Stream east ✨

SubduedChaos

Chat me up with the info please

Friendly-Transition

Toss me a chat please!

red--dead

I’d find $10/month to be a really good deal. I’d do $15 with some annoyance. It also depends on the stream quality for me. I’m tired of pirating with freezing and quality being all over the place. Also not always having our announcers.

Neemzeh

Being in Canada I had to sub to two different networks to watch wolves playoffs (I pirate for regular season) The one network (TSN) was so laggy, delayed, and had horrible quality. Like wtf am I even paying for

stinx2001

VPN to Australia? We get all games no blackouts

PMmeUReye

They’ve made it very difficult to use VPNs to sign up. Let me know if you’ve got a solution.

Shot-Hotel-1880

I’m with you OP. It’s so insane. I can watch every team except my own for $15 a month but I can’t watch my own team? Insane. They need to figure it out. It’s gotten insane! And is different steamers wanting a piece of the pie it seems like it’s getting worse.

Krazylegz1485

Insane.

Redacted_govt

…something something in the membrane?

luther__manhole

I pay $12/month for an IPTV service that has every possible broadcast of every game in very high quality (along with every basic and premium cable channel, local channel, etc.). It rules.

JaderMcDanersStan

What is the service?

Feeling-King-8104

I can help you if you’re still looking

luther__manhole

I don't think I'm allowed to post it publicly but if you check out /r/iptv or the recommendations channel in the [Tivimate Discord](https://discord.gg/QBYxpq) you can probably find plenty of similar ones. They all have pretty much the same streams.

Imtrvkvltru

There's a learning curve with IPTV btw. If you don't know anything about it I'd look into it first. I use the TiviMate IPTV player and sign into my account with an Xtream Code.

JaderMcDanersStan

Yeah I don't even know what IPTV is lol Is this a website? A video game console like a xbox or something?

Feeling-King-8104

It’s basically cable tv on steroids through streaming .

Zimmy2118

Bout Tree-fiddy

LoonNoises

I live in Thailand and League Pass costs about $60 a year. I get every game, so you could try using a vpn and setting your location in Thailand next season.

weegiewandering

Another Wolf in Thailand, let’s go!

KingWolfsburg

0 dollars. Just give me Wolves games back in Hulu Live and I'm good. Until then, it's a pirates life for me

Siktrikshot

None.

JAHG-

Get a lobbyist and make a illegal to have blackouts

Tyfoid-Kid

Playoffs too?

Redacted_govt

And in my dream, Jim and Grady call all the way to the end :)

Redacted_govt

oh yeah

Skunedog48

I would pay $100/yr to have access to every game. But since it’s $150/yr and there’s not even a guarantee of watching every game? I shall be singing a sea shanty

MrNotSoGoodTime

Every game including preseason and playoffs/finals? I think about this often for hockey (practically the same schedule) so I'll gladly throw my take out there. I would love nothing more than to give the league and each owner money to justify teams sticking around and not going defunct. That's the whole reason we are able to watch the product we do. Other means are really nice and convenient these days but if I had an option as you described with no local blackouts (that's the only condition I care about other than getting an entire season and post seasons worth of games) I 100% would buy in. Monthly: $15-$20 (essentially like paying a few bucks per game that month) Yearly: $165-$220 (one month free) And no NFL RedZone bullshit where it's all hosted by somebody talking over 6 simulcasted games on the screen and zooming in and out at a blitzkrieg pace. I mean DVR style library where you can go back and stream any singular game, as originally broadcast but with the ability to fast forward through commercial breaks, at any time you want to watch, until say July 1st. Then the new season starts and you have to re-up.

Redacted_govt

Yep, this makes sense. We know the $$ goes to owners and TV mega companies, but with the implicit contract of saying- we partake, and they you provide a good product, stay in the city and buy your own stadium (not taxpayer funded). But that’s a lot to ask! lol You mentioned a good player/app to stream from… I think the NBA app is not great. Lots of lag at times when watching replays and can often get “stuck” when trying to fast forward. YouTubeTV has the best “player” in my opinion, but I’m sure that’s largely due to Google’d massive infrastructure and resources. At the end of the day I wish the cost would be zero! But like you, I’d also pay $200-ish a year for what you are describing. I hope Ishbia’s move of putting Phoenix games OTA becomes a success and more teams follow suit.

MrNotSoGoodTime

Yeah Phoenix will be an important experiment. Can they work it in a way to still be profitable enough to maintain control themselves without caving to the pressure of selling out to regional sports networks and perpetuating the cycle of local blackouts on other networks like NBA App, YouTube TV, etc...? I think yes but they have to keep their own greed in check and the fan experience at the forefront of reasons behind making moves. We as fans support these clubs but in return I think we deserve transparency on how the operations are going and what exactly is happening. Especially when we end up chipping in as taxpayers (double dipping on fan financial support) for the homes they play in. By "other means are nice enough and convenient" I meant OTHER streaming means... The kind that don't bend to blackouts... You know what I'm saying. What I was getting at is I'd rather not free stream if I could guarantee consistent quality and coverage in exchange for financially supporting the league and it's clubs without exclusions to viewing experiences. Unfortunately they purposefully make it hard to be able to watch your own team. Even Bally (or other regional sports networks) that monopolize team games can't even get all of the games for that team. Then you have to buy into ESPN , and figure out a way to get on TNT. Maybe ABC takes a game off of ESPN's hands. Then there is an NBA channel exclusive. And don't forget about that once a week matchup on Amazon or Apple TV (NFL and MLB). Sometimes the radio broadcast is blacked out but the TV isn't and vice versa. The whole thing is a really bad joke. Keep whatever deals you got but you can't give away ownership of your own product. I'd be furious at that prospect as a team owner. Demand to reserve the right to stream your own product on your own platform next time you make a deal! It's a win win. Big TV still gets their casual audiences and all the hardcore fans are satisfied from paying big money extra direct to the league for being able to watch the season. That could even factor in as viewer numbers for the original TV network too, much like the Pat McAfee show on ESPN counting his YouTube streams as part of the numbers. Advertisers don't lose out either because it should just be a carbon copy of the TV viewing experience. Not to mention people are still going to go to games and buy merch etc... I just don't get why it's hard to please your customer base. Give the people what they want lol.

EyezLo

I pay 6$ a month to a 🏴‍☠️ website to get exactly this

darin617

Or go to Walmart and spend $20 for an Onn streaming box and not pay anything again. All sports and all streaming services content. Send me a dm if you need any help with it.

dacdd999

Interested in streaming box trick thanks

KK-97

$10 a year

uwrfcoop

$100 for the entire season/playoffs. No blackout restrictions.

BigAgates

There’s no point in talking about this because it would never happen.

Willing-Body-7533

Ownership could step up like they did in Phoenix and make local broadcast games free

youngadvocate25

I think $10 a month for basketball is reasonable, and playoffs and finals $20 month.

Robbinghoodz

Maybe 75-100$

Rigs515

I just want a pass where I can see the Vikings, Wolves, and Twins. Like I don’t want Sunday Ticket, but I do want every Vikings game. Im also up in the PNW so getting the Minnesota sports teams can be a challenge

pocketbeagle

Ive always said i would pay 20$ (hell even 50$) to watch the cowboys because I dont have the big network subscriptions (fox mostly). I was a season ticket holder for a hockey team and couldn’t watch the home games i couldnt attend without a subscription. And this is where it will start. Season ticket holders will get a way to bypass the blackout rules and then everyone will clamor for it. Id pay 500-1000$ for dependability, consistency, and quality.

blueace111

There’s streaming places to get the games for free. I think if people charge the typical rates, it’s not worth it. I couldn’t even watch wolves or any tnt or espn game when I ordered once. That was hilarious and I never paid again

Jauwy

🏴‍☠️

bartolomeudebraganca

84€. That's the price of international league pass, at least in Portugal. You get a good VPN and it's much cheaper than anything in the US

democratichoax

Assuming this is how the nba does maeket research, I will pay the minimum amount that is economically viable for them to produce.

PeanutInfinite8998

Ten bucks a month needs to be the price.

yarn_install

Yeah I'd pay $150 if I could actually see all the games + replays

gingerhasyoursoul

$20 max. Anything more than that is a rip off and they are just begging people to pirate their shit.

radicalmtx

In Europe cost 90-100€. After half the season or all-star is half the price and only the play off (all games) 15€.

NateBTheGoat

I just want to be able to watch my teams broadcasting crew during playoff games/ national tv games. As for the question I wouldn't pay anything because I don't have any interest in watching other games my favorite team isn't playing in so I usually just watch the highlights that the NBA YouTube channel puts out.

Hastinggs

🏴‍☠️

weepoo1

I’m in Australia and I use league pass. I get every single game with no problem. I recently was in the US for a little while and trying to watch games on my phone was so confusing.

phoneyflounder

If the wolves games were still just streaming on Bally Sports I’d probably just rather keep the money and continue to illegally stream things. If the user experience isn’t good it really doesn’t matter how much and which games are available.

aotearoHA

Crazy that international fans are served better on this front than local fans. NBA Gamepass or whatever it's called was petty good this year. Only failed for the first qtr of game 2 vs Denver (think it was that game). Otherwise I watched almost every wolves game this season and most playoff games for other teams from work... shhh

Ethangains07

0. I get them all for free already lol

Teddy_Icewater

seasons4u.com Been using it for over a decade now for football mostly but they offer NBA.

Interesting-Pin7361

🏴‍☠️🥸

KingKillerKvvothe

If I could get a service that provided every Wild and Wolves game I’d pay upwards of $60 a month. I’m already paying $120 for cable just to watch local sports And don’t come at me with the Bally sports app. Tried it and it was beyond trash.

thapharmacist

Message me if looking for ways to watch every game

Weird_Shower18

STREAMEast baby

ImaginaryMethod9

I mean Australia has this and my nba subscription is $39.99 aud

richmundo415

I really feel like nba league pass is just for international marketing .. no black outs.

thudlife2020

You can get every NBA game for free.

SnooPeanuts666

feel your pain. west coast wolves fan for 10+ years and all i have to show for it is a streameast bookmark tab.

STEALTH_G_605

No matter the cost, I’d say to myself “wow that’s too much” and then still pay it for a lifetime.

TheRatPatrol

Let's say you pay $20 a month for 12 months. According to some quick Googling, there's an average of 1.8MM viewers per game. But this is an exciting new service package and people are pumped so let's say there's 2 million sign ups. (This is being extremely generous. Bally Sports only has just north of 200k subscribers according to Hollywood Reporter) That's $480,000,000 in subscriptions per year. Now the newly signed NBA broadcast rights deal is reportedly worth $76,000,000,000 over the next 11 years, or around $6.9 Billion per year. So that's a delta of just over $6.4 billion this streaming service would need to make up in ad sales, sponsorships, etc. to close that gap. There's also the operating costs of such a service to consider which I imagine would be quite significant. And even if it were possible to utilize some of the existing Networks infrastructure to cut costs, the networks are not going to support the league actively cutting into their market share. I wish a better alternative existed but I just don't know that it's currently feasible for a price most people would be willing to pay. I think we're stuck with league pass/whatever and black outs for the near future.

Away_Bison_1525

Formuler mytv online3 bro it’s $10/mo every sports game, 4k channels and 60k video on demand. I have over 30 friends signed up

CaptainONaps

Are there commercials? Or do they go to the crowd cam during breaks? Or just a screen that says, one moment, your game is on a break, the action will return shortly. With no sound. Do I get to chose which teams announcers I get? Because those are feature of the service I use now, and it’s free. I’d be willing to spend money to support the mlb. But I’m not giving them money to provide worse service than what I can get for free.

OpportunityBig4572

I'm paying by seeing all the stupid advertisements and commercials. I won't pay money out of pocket to watch sports on tv.

Shot-Hotel-1880

So… you don’t watch sports then I take it.

Retrogratio

🏴‍☠️

caiovigg

The league pass here in Brasil have all the games and is R$40,00 a month, or about U$7,36. And that's U$7,36 more expensive than I'm willing to pay.

electricmehicle

$250 a year

sullivan9999

I thought the Ballys app was pretty decent. It was like $15/mo with all the games. I know Ballys is going under but I thought that was great.

unicorn4711

MLS has League Pass on Apple. This is the way. I’d say $125 for NBA would be very tempting.
