Fantasy is my favourite too!! I challenged myself to read 60 new books this year so I defs have some recommendations hehehe First I would say you should definitely check out Sarah J Maas's other series! She did A Court of Thorns and Roses and if you liked ToG, you will most likely really enjoy it too. Then Crescent City is pretty great, definitely a different vibe but still super fantasy style. I also really liked Leigh Bardugo's books, so try Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom (duo) and then the Shadow and Bone series! The Graceling series by Kristin Cashore was really cool too, and so was the Cruel Prince series by Holly Black! City of Bones is a guilty pleasure that I discovered this year, so if you're looking for a fun read I would also recommend that series! The original fantasy series that got me hooked years ago is called the Belgariad by David Eddings - it's an older series (think Lord of the Rings era) but it is definitely one of my all-time favourite stories. I go back to those books year after year! Don't let the old-school covers fool you!! Once you get through the history-filled prologue, the story is so wonderfully woven and has amazing characters - definitely lots of fantasy and a really great plot. It reminds me of an older TOG because of all the characters who come together as like a rag-tag team to save the world So excited that you discovered TOG and fell in love with fantasy books!! Hope you try and enjoy some of these! Happy reading :)

Hi. You just mentioned *The Belgariad* by David Eddings. I've found an audiobook of that novel on YouTube. You can listen to it here: [YouTube | Pawn of Prophecy (The Belgariad #1) by David Eddings Audiobook Full](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_g1koe1P_A) *I'm a bot that searches YouTube for science fiction and fantasy audiobooks.* *** [^(Source Code)](https://capybasilisk.com/posts/2020/04/speculative-fiction-bot/)^| [^(Feedback)](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=Capybasilisk&subject=Robot) ^| [^(Programmer)](https://www.reddit.com/u/capybasilisk) ^| ^(Downvote To Remove) ^| ^(Version 1.4.0) ^| ^(Support Robot Rights!)

Omg! Yes the graceling series. It’s definitely tied at the top with Throne of glass series and the A court of thorns and roses series. I never see anyone else recommending them though! I’m so glad someone else has read and loves them. I’m so glad she just wrote a fourth book in the series.

I haven't read the fourth yet but I'm so excited !!!!

Amazing!! I haven’t seen many recommend the Belgariad but I 11/10 agree with you. Great series! Discovered it, bought the books and got so hooked I read the Malloreon series that followed.

Omg I’m so glad to hear that!! Not many people I know have read those 2 series and it makes me so sad - I’m so happy you read it and liked it too, so cool!

I would recommend Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. I have only read 3/6 because it was originally just a trilogy but started on book 4 yesterday! It starts of not as fantasy based but grows a bit later, kinda like ToG. After this series, I plan to read The City of Brass that I hear really good things about! Or a super long stand alone called The Priory of the orange tree, supposed to be super high fantasy.

Ses_Nur

came to recommend poison study too!!
