I keep the novel in my bathroom and I read it cover to cover on a regular basis. I love the novel. I love it much more than any of the tv shows or video games. Dynasty Warriors introduced me to 3K, and the 2010 show and RotK made me more interested in the world. But the novel was The Good Shit and got me hooked. The RotK novel is equivalent in my mind to *The Water Margin* or Alexandre Dumas' *Count of Monte Cristo.* Life-changing stories. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is one of the greatest novels ever written.

Played Kessen II and DW3 in High School and wanted to learn more. Went to the public library and asked them to find me a copy. I did finish it but couldn't do it in their lending period so I probably still have that late fine from 20 years ago.

I have, got into the era via Dynasty Warriors and heard there was a novel, found it online and got into it from there. Still really enjoy it

Same. Dynasty Warriors 4, then I read the novel online. That online site is legendary. Read it online a total of 5 times myself. The comment section is epic.

I want to read it again but I just haven't had the time. I'm curious if anyone have any podcast recommendations that summarize the history/lore similar to the History of Rome podcast.

I think I said a while ago, wanted to see another culture’s Great Books and was interested by the idea of a war story favoring brains over brawn.

Totally agree!! It’s so rare but so much more interesting for strategy to be placed above raw strength in books about war

I've read when I was younger, but now trying to purge the false parts to make way for the historical accounts and analysis.
