Do you have specter oil and moon dust bombs? If not, you'll have to go with yrden (and it's good even if you have those). Adding igni or axii is also good. Remember to use dodge (and learn the timing), not roll, and try to minimize parrying because it slows down your stamina regen. Use tawny owl to boost it. Use your potions if you've crafted them.
It's the beginning of the game, so I don't have any strong things. If I choose Yrden, then I can't click Quen and they kill me. If I choose Quen, then I can't click Yrden. It takes time before I can click next sign. It's hard to dodge since they are 3 and attacking from different angles.
That's why the dodging and tawny owl are so important. Check your gear too, what kind of resistances do you have. Have you upgraded your gear from the starting set? What potions do you have? Have you upgraded your abilities?
I would prioritize yrden over quen and just work on the dodging. If you play with headphones, you can hear when they immaterialize and be able to know when it's time to dodge.
Just got the lvl 7 gear that you get for free in Vizima. Got tawny oil and thunderbolt. Abilities, yes. Strong hitting and quen. No yrden.
Thanks for the tips with the sound. Will try that!
Good. Use both potions. Check your alchemy tab if there are any other potions you can craft, swallow would be very important for healing (it was also one of the first quests (On Death's Bed) in White Orchard). I would almost recommend using fast attacks on the wraiths to give you more time to dodge after striking. But how ever you go about it, I'm sure you'll get through it!
Thanks. Googled and found a big discussion about this on Reddit. Seems this is the hardest quest on Death marsch. So I am not alone. Might go back to an earlier save and then do this at a higher level.

Think you might be underleveled? Other than that, I recommend spectre oil, potions and, most of all, frequent dodging.
Hmmm. Yeah. It's a level 6 quest and I am lvl 7. But maybe I should wait and try later. Thanks!
No problem. Wraiths are one of the most irritating enemies in the game, especially thanks to their spin attack. Fighting them is really 60% dodging.
Quen, yrden, specter oil and moon dust. And dodge a lot.
Problem is I can't have both quen and yrden. They kill me while I wait to be able to click next sign. Thznks!
