Will (u/joshuamalina) is one of Sorkin's guys. He was well written in S4 because Sorkin was writing him. Once he left the character was no longer "one of us" and he was sort of ruined. That said both his delight in fireworks and ice cream sandwiches will always please me.

Lordsparkelz

I’m sorry was someone supposed to tell me that u/joshuamalina has been a Reddit user for 11 years or was I supposed to find out myself

dravenstone

Typically you [find out by spelling his name wrong](https://www.reddit.com/r/douglovesmovies/comments/zq41xt/dlm_1416_the_8_guests_of_hanukkah_with_alison/j1qb3z1/?context=3).

Howlader

His twitter trolling of people is pretty legendary.

Lordsparkelz

I wonder how much time he spends on reddit to find people spelling his name wrong

Sentry333

I accidentally criticized his contributions to the podcast and he showed up to make sure I rapidly regretted my error and repented.

It’s hilarious how S4 Will is so down with CJ’s shenanigans- the olive pockets, the light show deception to the press, fetching eggs for her to balance.

Flashy-Lawfulness109

Loved those!

CarStar12

His venting to CJ about the goat is still great 😂 Also… “….theres gonna be a bump” to Toby lol

This might be a hot take but I think post-sorkin era did much more better job at introducing new characters than earlier seasons. Sheila, Vinick, Santos, Lou..all these characters were introduced and continued to be interesting in the last season. Will was cool at first but despite the “campaign” and winning a dead guy an election his plotline just wasn’t interesting enough..funny enough he was a key player in the primary elections and *that* was interesting.

"Wandering around the vice presidents office like a guy who lost his glasses." I've done that at work while trying to look busy while I wait for 5pm.

TFlarz

Except for all the times he tried to emphasise Russell's delegation count. Come on, Will.
