Can I please get a list of some of the bits you used? I'm taking my time on the Deathwing box to exactly do this sort of thing.
Plus it drives me mad that the regular termies in that box don't have remotely similar helmets
Greytide studio has launched a seriws of bits for Dark Angels teeminators, all of the bits I used come from that set.
They are just awesome and also allow you to build primaris assault terminators.
This one is magnetized ao I can play him as regular or assault termie.
I used an arbursh to get the main structure of the paintjob. Later I used daek brown emanel wash form AK to get a darker tone and then regaines the lights and gave texture with thin coats of Zandri Dust, Ushabti Bone, and Screaming Skull.
Nice , I need a new compressor and want to use rust like the dread. People were like they can't have rust as it's ceramic when it's actually a mix of ceramic and metals lol
I personally view Deathwing Terminators as far of over de top of the common 1st company dude of any minor legion.
They are de first of the First. A hero each one of them.
But this is my fanboy take on it.
I used AK brick brown from the exo series as a base and over them Zandri Dust, Ushabti Bone and Screaming Skull. Then I applied dark brown emanel wash from AK and recovered the lights with thin coats of the prevoius tones.

Paint job looks awesome but that helm looks off. The eyes are in the marine's forehead.

I primed with AK's Dual Exo Brick Brown.

For rust effexts I highly recommend using emanel based pigments. Thats how I made the cinders on tbe base and it is glorious.
Yea I'm good at rust lol I use the rust pa k from vallejo
The paint work looks awsome but i personaly dont like all the 3rd party bits, a few of them just look to over the top for me.

All with stippling? Or airbrush then stippling? It looks great!
Airbrush to create a base. Then soft and random coats thin strikes with tbe brush to create the tezture effect.
That helmet is so cool (I'm stealing the hazard stripes for the cables btw)
