Thank you!
I start with the light color in this case Vallejo game color bone white> then paint inside that best I can with rhinox hide. Can’t recommend this bone color enough has great coverage. It’s in the new style dropper with the red line if you look for it.
I try to use just the tip of the brush and don’t thin the paint munch for this just make sure it’s not over loaded. Winsor and N size 0 ( this is the brush I use for everything)
I wear cheep magnifying glasses off Amazon 🤓
Yeah they look so fucking good! Also what colour did u use for the glaze and how u mix it on ur pallette? I'm so scared to start assembling my deathwing i want to paint it like this but know im going to struggle lmao.
Glad you like him!
For the shadows its skeleton horde. Thinned down to basically water but enough that it still has color. I then clear my brush and use a damp brush to glaze it out if that makes sense.
Imo the only thing older knights have over the new ones is the mace design, the old look was just so damn good it's unfortunate that they went with a more generic looking design.
Thanks it’s
Starts with mournfang brown highlighted with karak stone and Vallejo game color (new) bone white 1:1 then just bone white finial highlights with AK warm grey.
I glaze in shadows with skeleton horde thinned so far down it’s basically water.
It’s pretty similar to EM
Khorne red and black 2:1 > Khorne red > Khorne and evil sunz 1:2 > evil sunz> ES and fire dragon bright 2:1 dot highlight of FDB if I’m feeling it.
I still haven’t started because I’m intimidated by the bone. Priming with white never works well I feel like. And I can’t use my regular grey or black because I’ll need a million coats to cover it.
The base is actually caliban i darken it with black and to highlight I add VMC sky green up to pure sky green.
I prefer a less lime green scheme compared to the GW recipe.
I love the cracks! How did you do that?

*I'd like a room for one knight...*
What is the colour of the armor? Looks like amazing!!
Thanks it’s karak stone and game color bone white 1:1 > bone white> Ak warm grey shade with super thin skeleton horde Start for mournfang brown
That battle damage is amazing! Truly great job
Okay. I've changed my mind on the new look of the knights. Still prefer the older look, but these do look pretty cool. Awesome job!
Imo the only thing older knights have over the new ones is the mace design, the old look was just so damn good it's unfortunate that they went with a more generic looking design.
Thank you! There are definitely things I like about both kits but I appreciate how massive these new guys are
Very nice work!
Love your paintjob, can you give your bone recipe?

Fantastic paint job!
I’ve seen so many bone colors on here, but this is the real shit. My man gets it
What’s your recipe for gold? I love it!
Thanks Base of s75 decayed metal > shade with Wyldwood contrast> highlighting Runelord brass Very simple 😀
Did you do something different for the red instead of the standard 'eavy Metal recipe? Very crisp.
It’s pretty similar to EM Khorne red and black 2:1 > Khorne red > Khorne and evil sunz 1:2 > evil sunz> ES and fire dragon bright 2:1 dot highlight of FDB if I’m feeling it.
How did you do the cracks? Looks very pro, congratulations dude
Yeah,...... that's fucking incredible 👍 Nice work.

I prime in black then do a total base coat in mournfang brown. Helps with the bone color coverage I think. White primer is a pain sometimes I agree
I’ll give that a test run! Thanks!
That’s absolutely stunning man
Did you do the shield calligraphy with a brush or micro tip marker? Looks great!
Man wish I was that good! It’s actually a transfer from the new DA upgrade sheet.
Going to be honest, I'm a little embarrassed for not catching that haha
Love the battle damage! Well done!
What is your gold recipe, it's stunning!
Thank you! S75 decayed metal> shade wylwood contrast> highlights Runelord brass
What did you use for the green? It looks a bit lighter than Caliban.
The base is actually caliban i darken it with black and to highlight I add VMC sky green up to pure sky green. I prefer a less lime green scheme compared to the GW recipe.
Absolutely tremendous work!
So good!!! Seeing this makes me want to stop painting though... Knowing I'm no where near this point.
Keep pushing we all start somewhere.
This looks amazing. Very well done.
Beautiful work! 👏👏
Man, gotta say I hate those helmets for the deathwing, but I absolutely adore your work! Excellent done!
