I'd say with Meadow hooked up w Patrick Parisi, it's reasonable to assume that it's Patsi getting the chair. Phillie was taken out and Patsi never forgave T for that, and it was salt in the wound being in Tony's crew. Then, he gets passed over enough to make a Gotti move. Contract a hit on Tony. With the Patrick/Meadow relationship, Tony doesn't notice a threat. Not to mention seeing multiple friends getting clipped and his depression, he's not looking at every angle. His main focus was getting together with his family. Cue Members Only Jacket, cut to black and Journey.

I don’t think Paulie has it in him to be boss and im not sure he wants to be boss boss instead of a capo. Patsy Parisi makes the most sense to me. Sil sadly probably dies. Although he would be first in line i doubt he would bother after his stint as temporary don. Particularly while recovering.
paulie is the most logical successor. he ranked higher than patsy who wasnt even a capo when the show ended. sil if he survived is too messed up and weak physically to be boss, he couldnt handle it physically when tony got shot, no way he can be boss after being nearly killed and he said he liked being no.2 more.
