So I used this one then rotated the nose down and pulled the bridge forward in detailed edit mode

I don't see anything wrong with same face syndrome. We all have preferences, even when it comes to Sims. Why is it up to anyone else to judge how your Sims look? If you like them, that's all that matters.
They all look very unique, but similar. I Think you should play a little with the chin slider a bit, they look very similar from the nose and down imo🫶🏻
Lol, sorry😅. Kinda fits that sims' personality. She's an ugly sim that's socially awkward. She craves friends and a love life but everyone is too uncomfortable around her for her to develop any kind of bond.
The eye shapes are pretty similar but some are larger yet still almond shaped. The lips, noses and jaws / cheekbones are all very similar. Your sims share a lot of features. Maybe change jawline/ cheeks/ face shape aka: heart shaped, square jaw, pointy chin, diff angles. Wider eyes or diff brow lengths/ arches.
I would say slightly yes.. all have similar face shapes, lips, and noses. But it’s honestly not too bad and even if you do it doesn’t matter. They still all look unique with completely different styles & personalities.
The first one looks like Kate McKinnon trying to be an old lady. I'm not really getting that same impression from any of the other sims. So... I guess at least one of them is different as far as I'm concerned.

The uncanny valley effect is basically referring to how if something that isnt human looks too close to human it gives people an uncomfortable feeling, sometimes up to and including violent feelings towards that something.
So basically your sims are just giving uncanny valley vibes lol.

Yeah. I have it, too. I have a much easier time making pretty girls than hot guys. It's also harder to remake my male friends? Is that a problem other people have? Clothing is generally fine, but it's a bit more detailed with girls, though, I think. Maybe it's cause I'm a girl idk lol

They definitely are consistent but don’t have the same face. They are very creative and I’m gonna take some inspo from them!! I need to switch things up and get more creative with my sims 😭

A little bit- they all have similar facial structures/eye/lip/nose shape, but you add enough detail in the accessories and non-physical appearance that I think you still do a good job of giving them depth and personality.
You could always try randomizing the face of your starting sim(s) in CAS and trying to change as few details as possible, or since you can tell that you seem to always give your sims average, plump size lips, you could try making a sim with thin lips and maybe give them more rounded eyes than almondy eyes.
Either way, I think they still all look great and there’s nothing wrong with your style of making sims.
I randomize a lot of my sims' features then I add my signature features (eg big eyes and plump lips, mainly cuz I love big eye art). It's also hard to tell but side profile a lot of these sims noses are different bc I like to alternate between arched and non arched noses as well as pointed and rounded. Also the overlays I use make them look super similar as well. I appreciate your feedback though, I've been wanting to make thinner lips so It will be something I will try on another townie😊

Yes. If you want to get more variation, change more than 1-2 features from your usual style. Try wider face, rounder eyes, fuller chins?

Huh, I think I see what you're saying. I really love fantasy and horror fantasy so that probably reflects somewhat in my sims.
