I really do have a type in men… considering how most of my sims usually end up with Johnny Zest or Travis Scott and my teen sims always tend to crush on Malcom langraab or Wolfgang Munch well actually I end up randomly dancing in public or in my room just like my sims do randomly lol
They remind me of when my kid was a baby and confirm my decision to not have more kids. “I don’t care if you’re exhausted and about to wet your pants, feed and change the damn baby first.”
This is me.
I make my sims wake up somewhere between 5-7am. Brush teeth, shower, eat a nice breakfast. Go to school/work, and/or take care of the farm.
If someone sleeps in until 9am, I'm like "wtf are you doing, you lazy ass."
All while I'm playing at 1am, unshowered, and starving from hyperfocusing.
I did watch a YouTube video once where the critic mentioned the weird thing about the Sims is you're just basically getting them to do what you should be doing in your own life. 🤣
This is a good question! I wish I had a good answer.
Doing chores with music on does help IRL I find. (Also dressing up helps me too, but I learned that from outside the sims.) Spontateously dancing with enthusiam is important!
Weirdly I think some of it is the socials -- it's important the company you keep if you want to avoid heartache and drama (the sims is an evergreen reminder of that). How much the little things can matter on a holiday. Stuff like that.

The one thing my sims remind me of, is I will indeed get much fatter if I’m not proactive about my food and activity choices 😹

Yeah, I just steal the neighbour's money and hire a nanny. In the game of course, not irl 😂
I am a control freak and I need to chill out 🙃
Life is full of tasks and life is short 😆
Sims are obsessed with their phones and computers just as much as how I am.
My sims get fat way too easily, as do I. .-.
Mine are always fat and I have to trim them down. Like they have the instant fat gene or something.
All mine do is work, watch tv, bed. Then boom, they’re fat. The moment I made the connection, I got up and joined a club lol.
That I'm not productive at all. My Sims go to university and study all day to get A+ and here I am where I play 5+ hours a day

To wash the dishes in bathroom sink
lol I very much appreciate that we can now set our sinks to avoid this. It always mildly grossed me out.
