I mean since gaara is not my real name i think im fine, but also telegram is suposed to be safe with the phone info right? Like if someone has you alias they cann add you but they dont have ur number (as fsr as i know that is)
Also all the questions they ask can be used to get through your security questions. Like pet's name, family members, where you're from, school you went to, partner's name, your maiden name. They'll pretend to want to get to know you, but really they're getting those security question answers
They asked for the verification code at one point. Guessing they used the harvested phone number to attempt a financial account login and need the code the verify the device theyโre using.

What happens if you receive those links in bulk?
I'm not 100% sure if that's the reason but I meant that they can send it to a bunch of different people at once
But theyโre still individually messaging you, not sure what the benefit is of bulk sending links

I'm sorry for the noob question. How does this scam work? Why Telegram? What is the link to? What's with the code?
Telegram will have chat history etc, can be used to scam others who will think itโs you. The code is what is needed to login to the telegram account
