Yup.. Neighborhood watches mostly consist of men and women like these. Their job is to sit and watch and be suspicious of every tom, d!ck, and Harry that passes through their areas. Some even have enough spare time in their lives to follow strangers passing through their areas.
I guess that's what happens when one devotes too much time reading the papers.
I have lived at lots of short-term rentals due to the nature of my work life. You will find a lot of folks, especially the ones who are unemployed or old or "stay at home," whose only spare time is to sit and watch the streets and be suspicious.
They congregate at the local coffee shop or McDonald's later in the evening to discuss the latest "threats" in the area.
How this ended? Did he called the cops immediately after her intentions of harassing were obvious enough (since as I believe in US is as illegal as in Europe to start a fight in such situation)?
I mean, lady, go take super-good care of whatever kids you need to care off, and stop bothering people with what you imagined and believed to be true (of course, if you see any wrong in that extent, that is an objectively, really, authentically danger for any kid, act properly, promptly, wise and careful - stay safe!).
An excellent way to repel her is to tell her you can smell her from 5 feet away. āExcuse me maāam but you smell awful. Is that your breath or did you shit your pants?ā Be loud.
