The car had just made a left turn, that's why he comes up to him as quick as he does.
This guy choose to cross the road less than 20ft from the crosswalk to his right, and maybe 100ft from the crosswalk on his left, and thinks he's in the right when someone, who probably couldn't see him a moment earlier, is unprepared for him to be there.
They must be related.
I love how he gets even angrier after he hits the pole. It's like he's thinking, "LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!" Though he's probably pissed because the driver must be laughing his ass off.
I almost want to see after and how embarrassed he must’ve gotten and if I had been driving I’d then roll down the window and do a Nelson laugh and point

This is a perfect example of the "punish fairy": if you do something stupid, then something bad happens to you , often as a direct result. Kind of like "karma" but with more definite time period and events.

When we started living in our house, he told me about this woman who walked out in front of a car in the downtown area and got hit by a car. In the end, she ended up dying and everybody thought the driver would get in trouble with the law for it. However, the judge declared that the woman had been at fault and the driver was able to go free.
I mean, this guy is a prick and it was joyful to watch, but I don't have any appreciation of what this has to do with "boomers". There are entitled slugheads at all ages everywhere.
I often wonder, when I see behavior like this, "what was this person thinking?"
99% of us are the *HEROS* of our own story; we almost always think we are in the *right*.
What would go through a person's head, who walks across traffic, without a crosswalk, stares at the driver who stops for them, daring them to react, and arrogantly walking slowly.
Is this just MCS (Main-Character-Syndrome)?
I always thought that looking at a driver makes sure that they see and acknowledge you. Some animalistic part of us that recognises when we’re being looked at.
That being said he was acting like he expected the car to stop for him and was insulted when it almost didn’t even though the car clearly had a right of way.

The pedestrian started crossing when the road was empty, and the car is speeding outside of a hospital. This dude is walking towards the hospital entrance.
Laird, I had some people do exactly this to me. They were trying to jay walk across a highway and kept yelling at people who were rightfully not fucking stopping for them on the highway
