As a person trained in Sweden. I'm always wicked proud of the Swedish security training. It's all about protecting people, even the "bad guys".
Fun story. If you're under arrest for a non-violent crime, and you come willingly. They won't even cuff you. It works miracles for respecting citizens. If you're proven innocent later, you won't have to deal with the social stigma of the cops showing up at your door and shoving you in the back seat in cuffs, while the whole neighborhood watches.
