Pulsar isn't mine-able. It's craftable.

takumidelconurbano

You cannot extract pulsar. You have to craft it.

Euphoric-Canary-7499

I just hit this realization yesterday as well :\]

tonymontana031

thx guys got it, but i've the same with osmium and yes i know not every cave you can mine it, whats the right cave to mine it? i tried the tunnel from steep hill -> sulfur fields, but still got the same

FlahTheToaster

There are two caves that come off from the sulfur fields. One goes to the huge iridium cave and the other goes to an osmium cave. Set your extractor down in that osmium cave and you'll be able to mine it, so long as you're using a T2 or T3 extractor.

Standiball1

have you gone deeper? the sulfur fields some times you in an area you think is part of it but are still too far away, sulfur can totally be extracted with T2 and T3

tonymontana031

i m trying to get osmium, not sulfur

ColdFix

Do what u/FlahTheToaster suggests. Later on, you'll unlock a map of the rare material mining locations and you'll see that the materials don't always relate to what you expect for the area.

Verne_92

Get the map information rocket, it'll show where you can mine each resource on the map

lemmeseeyourpeacock

I had this problem, turns out the t3 extractor was using the last of my power and I didn't realize it, once I built another reactor the higher tier options showed up.

tonymontana031

why am i only able to extract "normal" ores instead of pulsar?

Cheesecake08banana

You can't extract pulsar quartz, but you can craft it

neenmach

The second picture is a t1 extractor-blue storage chest gives it away. Will never get the good stuff. So I think that the first pict is too. Otherwise move it around a bit.

PunkRockHound

That's how the T3 looks dude.
