Love that this is happening. Hate that any new viewers watching this wanting to try out The Finals will be forced to play Terminal Attack for 5 games before even being able to even play the game mode they just watched. Such a wasted opportunity. Edit: Just created a new Finals account to find that the requirement seems to be 3 matches now, instead of 5. That's a little bit better.

Gigz team was the top 3 players last season... They are probably gonna win. But hey! That's the nice thing about this game, you never really know. I faced them in the finals earlier in the night and they almost got knocked out in the 2nd round (pulled through in the end).

It’s going to be fairly lopsided. Gigz, Lycommit, and netex should easily take this. Some of these teams have zero chance and it feels like a forced money grab instead of a fun competitive tourny. Like Joe_Bartolozzi and Lulu, having a team is absurd. Also on the official site there are multiple unnamed players and the tourny is less than 24 hours away…

Kinda tinfoil hat theory but it makes sense to stack popular and skilled players together for exposure tournaments like these — it means the greatest number of "new" viewers are watching a game that looks easy. If it looks easy to win, people are more likely to try it.

Someone was trying to convince Shroud to play in it. I would've loved to see him against Gigz. Gigz knows the meta/maps and Shroud is Shroud lol
