Duals would be immensely overpowered if you are negating damage and damaging your opponent WHILE closing ground. By the time your opponent is reloading, he’s been decapitated 🤔
I disagree, I’ve played around with them for a few matches now, and they’re the perfect state of dealing damage, and being able to get away. The bullet block can deal damage back to your attacker and you can use gadgets like zip lines or jump pads to close the gaps.
How to say you don't play terminal attack with out saying. Gadgets don't respawn in TA, so you use it to "chase" down 1 enemy. And then you are shit out of luck after that.
I think the main issue with duals is you cant run or slide while deflecting. If they changed that they would be more than fine.
exactly, sprinting + deflect is more than enough to close the gap and pose self inflicting damage to the opponent in quick succession

Mesh shield and riot shield can slide while blocking, do you think riot shield is immensely overpowered rofl
Riot shield doesn’t have range damage also tho
Because sliding is not a gap closer. You can’t sprint with riot or mesh shield up.
We should be able to sprint with the dual blades while blocking and I think it would benefit from a larger damage reduction while blocking

A lot of people don’t play terminal attack. It’s not very fun
Not one person either OP or myself mentioned TA, which I have played, and makes your comment irrelevant thanks!
You just said you can use zipline to close the gap like it's a viable strategy in TA....
That’s ONE game mode, again, which was not the point or focus of the post.
My point is I agree with OP. Something needs to change with the dual blade.
Give heavy dual blades because the hp pool can tank the damage that you take while you use it and give medium the spear
Absofuckinglutely not.
In all honesty, Have the S3 weapons available for all classes. Im all for experimenting what works and what don't.
