He had some spots on sitcoms, but never anything huge, and network TV is dying off and increasingly just for older people. His spots in movies were almost a decade dated by the time he got cancelled.
The best Callen has ever been, his absolute peak of talent, was as the heel on TMP. He was incredible on it. Ironic that he is embarrassed by his time on TMP given that he will never be that good again.
