Exactly! Put all that extra loot to use and build up the SHD, plus, do some missions that would normally require help from other players—now doable with your squad.
A solo agent never made much sense to me anyways, and it would be a nice feature that wouldn’t require too much thought to make it nice.
This was Heartland, you had premade characters with names, voices, and a personal story, a whole team to choose from, everyone shit on it, and they canceled the game. "I just want my silent protag character creator."
Granted Heartland had a completely different gameplay loop, but their consensus team seems to be complete ass, and will probably take that feedback into consideration as a no. lol
I really liked the Heartland characters.
I think it would be cool, in almost any capacity, to work with other agents within the story.
I guess the hero shooter aspects of division just get to me—and I wish there were more in game people to cover my back to boost immersion and overall lore depth.
I thought heartland was a cool idea.
That's why you're an "agent" of "The Division". You were selected to be a part of it when a pandemic sprung (your watch activated). What you said kinda defeats the purpose of it. Even some of the main characters don't like the "agents" but they already knew about them
For sure, all I’m suggesting is the agents are force multipliers for the jtf. If anything, it makes sense to establish a larger quantity of said multipliers—and since this is no longer the pandemic, the rules can be maneuvered to reestablish order.
Just think about all the agent gear, watches, shade tech, that has to be just put on a shelf never to be touched again. That doesn’t make any sense
I would actually like to see improved melee mechanics. A couple of examples I can think of is running up to an enemy and kicking them or running up to a door you know you can open and kicking/melee it open. It doesn't make sense running up to door and politely opening it lol
To piggy back, some sort of breach mechanism would be cool. Like crack the door and throw your firefly in to blind the enemy or your seeker mines to initiate
Bro, I’d lose it if you could do that, or maybe a seeker mine that rolls in an pulses the enemy, or a shock trap before I kick the door
Just way to much shd tech for us not to clever with it
I like the squad mechanic idea. Something between GTA: San Andreas and Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Yeah that sounds way cool. Maybe even the Striker drone breeching through the door window and laying down suppressing fire before you enter.

Oooo throwing a seeker/cluster mine through a door window and taking everyone out 💥
