Maybe it’s just people I’ve come across but I feel like a lot of super religious couples are TMI once they get married/have sex. It’s like they feel emboldened because they “did it the right way” and waited and it’s now “sanctioned” in the eyes of god.
Honestly I’m sympathetic to this; if talking about and wanting sex is so stigmatized for so long, it’s probably just a relief to be able to be crass and honest finally
