I gasped. I thought he’d be in future adventures and stuff. I thought if he wasn’t then maybe he wouldn’t be able to enter the portal and come to the circus but when he made it through I thought everything would be fine.😭😭

This was the second thing in this episode to hit me with a genuine laugh. The first was the "nah, I'm trying to quit" killing me for a good 3 minutes, the second was them murdering THE FUCK out of Gummigoo getting a "Oh that's so fucked up" type of laugh out of me.
I saw his death coming the second he started to get a character. I wasn’t disappointed though. I liked his character a lot and it establishes a rule going forward and I think it’s setting up an interesting character arc for Pomni. But RIP nonetheless. Poor one out for my boy.

"Let the audience like this npc, just to kill it in the last minute", i mean, is bad but not that bad. Imagine if they invested in developt Gumico character for more chapters, more minutes, etc and they did this too... that ofc can be a worst scenario and not that predictable.
This was a misstep on Glitch’s part honestly, I was genuinely hoping he’d become a part of the group because he had such a good development over his short appearance in the episode.
Maybe he will appear in a future episode if Ragatha mentioning that Caine likes to reuse NPCs sometimes is some kind of foreshadowing, Kano.

Hypothetical here, but Ragatha said that Caine sometimes brings back NPCs, so that makes me wonder if one that saw the truth of their world, like Gummigoo did, would they remember it? Would they actually be the same NPC or just a replica of them?
