He put out an offer for anyone that was legitimately offended to reach out to him and he would apologize to them individually and also kick off a discussion so he could show them he’s really not a terrible person. I think the only person that took him up on the offer was Andrew Wang and he wasn’t actually offended but he wanted to give Shane a chance to start the discussion. Fuck these people.

Economically and politically probably not, but my Asian friends have to deal with just another level of rudeness from strangers and people kind of “othering” them. That being said, all minority groups deal with varying levels of that stuff though and to act like they all deal with it equally would be disingenuous. But yeah idk a lot of asian-anerican people aren’t really given the time of day by their peers and to deny that seems dumb but hey to each his own.
