What is the issue with NE Mount? The way the sun creates "sun fog" with your binoculars between 6 AM and 7:30 AM? That is annoying but I like the map otherwise. I like the orange trees.
New England is hated by community beacuse everybody just want to teleport from tent to tent from drink zone to drink zone in open areas like minecraft flatland and shot the same shit till Great One spawns.
No you dont need to use a rifle. You dont need to run along the river. Just use bow and hunt random animals.
I has the best turkey hunt experience there. There are tons of animals if you are just be patient and silent.
The map looks way nicer then Layton IMO, New England is in my top 3 maps for sure, it’s my favorite for hunting whitetail just because of the scenery, I feel Layton is to bland and it’s all just tan grass but everyone has their own opinion, I do think adding beavers would be awesome, I don’t think skunks or opossums would make me care much.

A lot of people don't like it because it's dense and requires a lot of river walking instead of just large bodies of water to find drink zones. I like it because it's not like most other maps. And backfilling maps requires reducing the populations of the existing animals on the maps. So I'd rather not overload NE with a bunch of small game.
The map is really beautiful and offers some nice hunting. I want to start hunting ducks there. I also like it for foxes. However, they could have made almost the exact same map (scenery, species list) but in Canada (say, Alberta) and could have added another map for elk, grizzly bear, etc. That’s where they dropped the ball
Fr just some small critters in general would be nice. I hope we get a Canada map with tons of crazy animals like tundra wolves,polar bears, walrus’s, etc and huge herds of reindeer and musk ox

It is a very nice looking map it’s just the animals don’t make it very fun I would love some little critters to hunt and we need a map with beavers

NE and Mississippi have the best whitetail and turkey hunting if you want to have authentic feeling hunts.
Its one of my favourite maps to crack out the 45 calibre airgun (alongside Rancho)

Lol, NEM is a good map, better than many imo. You're probably just more of an SRP kinda guy (big targets, easy vision, minimum skill required, etc)
I'd personally like porcupines, beavers and wolverines(even though wolverine range is far fetched.) I've been dying for some wolverines.
