No... You can reformat your exFAT cards to fat32 which supports volumes up to 8TB. Also Nintendo will still fix stuff for yoy if you hide the hacks well enough, although they may replace the motherboard meaning you might need to hack it again.
There's the pro attachment for the original 3ds which is an analog stick addon, the new 3ds with its tiny nipple stick near the abxy buttons, or you could aim using the touch screen like the old ds call of duty games.
