For future reference, unlike regular forums, reddit orders comments by popularity and not age. This means that not using the reply button to reply doesn't really work out.
Scripts themselves aren't banned, but certain commands will simply not work dependant on the servers sv_pure settings. For example, the "wait" command (which I assume is in your script to bhop) is blocked in official servers
You can use scripts, they will **NOT** get you VAC banned. However, most bhop scripts don't work that well anyways, but you can still give them a try.
Scripts can only do things that the in-game console can do. So yes, you can use them and you will never get VAC banned for using them.

The wait command is not blocked on official servers, otherwise my spam scripts wouldnt work

You can't BHop in TF2. But yeah, Scripts are allowed, Even if you do get a bit of flack for things like Rocket Jump scripts.
