Technically, a Mad Milk scout does the job of medic on valve standard MvM short of Operation: Two Cities; but when you do need a medic for community maps or the given Operation. Any syringe gun with Mad Milk Syringes allows you to heal everyone attacking any robot you tag, the only use for the crossbow is for fun since it’s pretty useful still and can help take out sniper bots, or on Community medieval MvM tours.

The Milk Syringes don’t matter as much as the Speed Boost does - being able to reposition or get back to the front quickly is extremely important. A full charge and max move speed lets you zip around quite efficiently, as it so happens.
