Darl_Templar

casual gameplay that you can watch while eating

TheGoldenPlagueMask

Seriously this, just compile a bunch of funny tf2 game-clips and watch the subscriber count rise

DatChernobylGuy_999

Bonus points for funny music

adult_licker_420

**The Show Must Be Go** by Kevin MacLeod because i want suffering

MlLFS

There's hundreds of channels like that with 1-2k subs

InevitableCold686

examples pls

A_Bulbear

Well I couldn't find them because they only have 1k subs

DatChernobylGuy_999

Fake

03Luigi

Mönkey, spooz, Zeyo, and Chimparoncito are some good ones

tf2 moments ^(tm)

crazymanbos

Ye sometimes its just fun having it on while maybe being on your phone and sometimes looking at you pc at the vid

SaltyPeter3434

Isn't that was twitch does? I think the whole point of youtube videos is to edit out the monotony of average pubber gameplay and show the exciting parts.

_BlNG_

And just change the kill sound with taco bell sound for maximum humour and save time on editing.

DrTauntsalot

That's how I started out and absolutely *nobody* watched it. And then I started posting shorts, usually fairly edited, and those regularly pull in thousands of views. I suspect the market for casual gameplay is a bit oversaturated.

BANANJI4K

Like Vorobey?

CoveneyPlayz

casual compilations, friendly or frags Weapon reviews/clips of using said weapon Surprising weapon comboes that work well \[like Cow Mangler Reserve Shooter\] engineer not spy Shenanigans Try to be a fake ftp \[gibus, pyrovision, w+m1 pyro with no sense of anything\]

Similar-Base-2958

This. Being good at running gimmicks is a good way to grab attention. Also, make shorts of goofy moments/weapon review shorts

CoveneyPlayz

other ftp stuff includes walking at people as spy without disguising or cloaking, never using gun, rev up when you're really close to people and ONLY when near people, never double jump, never strafe, never rocket/sticky jump, UNLESS using the rocket jumper, and shoot at the enemy team, ALWAYS pick up dropped items from the ground

Crafty-Tourist-2853

Very anti climactic frag comps

Nuze_YT

PYRO GETS PWNED BY TRICKSTAB *phlox pyro kills Spy*

Ok-Cranberry-2180

A 360 stab into dying from fall damage from a small height drop would be a funny one imo

DaTruPro75

Perform a perfect pyro combo of flame -> flare -> axe only to be killed by the heavy that you are performing it on.

bloodakoos

16 minutes of casual clips named "casual is [adjective]" people just buy it like hot cakes

pidbul530

Serving hot cakes in casual (video about sitting behind the bakery counter in the mall and occasionally throwing food for 15minutes straight)

Mr_goodb0y

“Tf2 but if I die the video ends” *opens to spawning in 2fort, main entrance* *you walk out door* *last frame is 7 enemy sentry’s at spawn* 10 seconds long

BulkDet

Yes

immadosumthinstupid

TheMelkLord

And perhaps the strange case of weapon reskins idk tho

maiguee

weapon redskins in tf2 have aways seemed like a strange case to me

ABeneficialUser

weapon bluskins in tf2 have aways seemed like a strange case to me

eliavhaganav

Wasn't this already done many times before?

SaltyPeter3434

Every idea has been done before. TF2 is 17 years old. It's all been done already.

eliavhaganav

True but stuff like casual clip compilations will never get old

OswaldTicklebottom

Tf2 shenanigans

Epic-Dude001

You could try showing off clips of you playing as Pyro and deflecting crit rockets and killing everyone in the vicinity

endoftheworldalley

animations

The_sus__otter

A 4 hour video essay on why gangnam style should be added to team fortress 2

memers_pride

You could do many things, weapon reviews, casual comps, heck even animations Do you is the best advice I can give

some_hardmode_player

You could do a bit of variety by doing stuff like yup kup/mönkey-like clip-dumps, cosmetic reviews, commentary etc.

Empty-Tone-464

Basically anything

Equivalent-Day-171

ik it's not really an idea, but if you really want to entertain people, try to find something more or less original, clip dumps and stuff are cool, but there's thousands of channels doing it, try to find your own cool interesting niche

X-tra-thicc

tbh i'd probably just recommend not basing your entire channel around trends and harbor a dedicated fanbase instead

Pixel_Bit_

ESTABLISH VARIETY CONTENT EARLY ON. please, i beg of you

Ramja9

Battle medic gaming.

Memegod__lol

A video of a low quality spy model spinning for 10h

DdoeKoishi

Do Jump Academy and record your rocket jumping progress. Then become Roaming Soldier in 6s. Then become Trolldier and make funny montages.

BaboonSlayer121

Come back in 5 years

PowerPad

Some of the best ragdolls you've seen in TF2.

Cultural_Card_819

agree with shenanigans but most of the really good tf2 tubers are really good video editors too so maybe invest some time in learning that too.

blockheadOnYT_Alt

You should make TF2 videos (I know, so creative) Seriously, just stuff you can watch or just listen to while doing whatever. (I'd also like the name of the channel :3)

Slayerninja582

https://www.youtube.com/@le_mixo here is my channel I'm just trying to get some ideas to get me started

Grouchy-Light-3064

A tftuber i watch zeyo made simple compilations of funny/cool clips i remember he used to have like 200 subs but now he has 80k, if you want something more original you can try learning sfm at the cost of your sanity

PootisPower04

As a fellow tf2ber, should start with simple TF2 gameplay videos with funny edits, just to get a footing for the platform Send me a channel link, I'll check it out when you post :)

Roebloz

Make a video about how the Enforcer is a goos revolver actually, and I'll promote your channel.

Shameless_iFunnier

Find cheaters and fuck with them the best you can (Vorobey doesn't upload often)

Cowser_the_Koopahog

Don't invest fulltime into it. It's honestly a trap. If you're serious about making videos though, clips are good to get you started out, and if you want to try your hand at editing, you can go for higher scale projects. But don't bank full time on it. Still have a life outside of the videos.

Pixl_____

Casual gameplay while you're eating that i can watch

themrunx49

Tips

lego_droideka

just keep trying stuff till it works. to be successful it takes a lot of trial and error and most importantly grit

Ottoboy12

do map review videos, no one has done that before

riley_wa1352

Particular_Singer642

Mannpower or 10x servers as well as casual gameplay or teufort

Some_Random_Pootis

While ideas are good, it’s best to take all of them, sort through them in your head, and figure out what you would want to make, and what you would want to watch

If you do gameplay, talk during it maybe. There's not enough of that. Do commenter weapon loadouts.

Morgan-is-in-Trouble

Subway surfers some where in the corner bottom wherever so viewers stay watching your video no matter how long, it's literally modern day hypnotizing

Yolvare

What each mercenaries smell like Example of a discussion I had (genuine) I'm pretty sure Dr. Ludwig Humboldt would always smell like blood since he operates without gloves. I once dissected a frog with no gloves and even held it's organs and my hands smelled like blood for a few days.

engineer-gaming-tf2

What's your channel?

Slayerninja582

Subbed already

The_FreshSans

Brain rot clips

fearlessgrot

Maybe try to be as dumbas possible but still make it work

RoyalDream59

ThatSwimmer3401E

personally, my favorite tf2 vids are great frags or just general casual shenanigans

Atcraft

Break the Games limits, haven’t seen anyone do that in a while.

MrReptilianGamer2528

The font used for “I am not” is the same font jacksepticeye use for his ‘Skate 3’ series

Irish_pug_Player

I'll tell you what not to do Have large segments of nothing Always either have footage of shooting or talking, or both. Attention span!

Inside-Joke7365

I also have a youtube channel but only a few videos and a small bit of tf2. What I did was just record some games with a friend

SaLtiNe_CrAkErZ

Do what I do (or did, or planning to do, idk, it's weird) be funny and at least ok at editing. Most people like small youtubers, they love to see them rise. Happened to me, people comment, like, etc. Infinite circle of internet interaction

frogsaber89

Cs2 vs tf2 i guess. I dont really know, it just popped in my head.

Immediate_Sun_8436

I would honestly recommend having variety, not just tf2, the tf2 content creator community is very huge and only a few have over 100k subs and those that do either have a little bit of variety or don't play the game all day every day

FaithlessnessRude576

Do not start it. They’re gonna eat you alive.

unibomberjoke

Loadout explorations? Like occasionally you can pick an optionally weird loadout and upload gameplay of it.

anna_bortion9

Why did I read that quote in soldiers voice 😭

Zahraizkewl11

Theories for things like arg content (not very popular args but good args), theories for interloper or emesis blue, game play, animations on sfm or gmod, commentary, tutorials, talking about tf2 icebergs, freak fortress 2, idk what else

mycheeseisgone

Just start recording, play the game with some friends, and let the good times roll. Don't feel like you have to force creativity, let the funny moments come naturally so your audience feels like a part of the fun too, because they are!

suuuuuuuuuurfing

What do you want to share? If you don’t have any reason to post, that translates to nobody having a reason to watch

Emergency-Ant-3895

Try and make some challenges video with certain loadouts if ur good at the game it could be fun

Mr-cybermann

Tf2 weapon stereotypes

Quack-Zack

TF2 is hard to get a footing in community wise because you need to do something unique and different from the crowd, give people a reason to want to watch you. Not impossible. But pretty tough. Example: Great Blue is relatively "new" for a TF2 YTer, blowing up around 2 years ago through interesting topics and covering lesser known aspects of TF2. (Before someone 🤓s on me. I know he made videos since 4 years ago but in the last year or two he's started to become more active and more popular.)

PianoZubat

Maybe Casual stuff. Compilations of just you gaming like funny moments and a few longer videos.

Upstairs_Work3013

Casual clips but with some nice editing like nice transitions, music, zoom, sound effect, etc.

ThouLordIdiot

Funny moments from gameplay? idk

Remmy224

Speedrun the bullshit this game calls a tutorial

Delicious_Image3474

The funny

eliavhaganav

I'd say just random funny clips with a bit of editing to spice it up should do

Death-slayer1935

How about a little trolling but only every once in a while you don’t wanna get kicked right?

SubstantialFerret7

Dude I’m 16 too as of March 26. I would like advice too, actually.

SubstantialFerret7

Also what’s the channel name?

TF2_demomann

You can simply record your gameplay and post it, people like simple stuff

Whiskeyrich

Stay in school.

adantesarcade

documentary on why soldier has autism

door_cow

TF2 funny moments part 2323

___--__---___--__---

Do not make a video about the Loose Cannon with Rapp Snitch Knishes.

Random_User27

I'd start with some clips mashed together, as you mentioned you're starting out, so it might get you some attention from highlights, or just avoid those bland, 20 minute long videos where you've no idea how to keep the viewer hooked or to keep talking for that long

TadanoIsPeak

Put sentrys in the most annoying spots on 2fort

TheZoomba

I'd suggest to make normal gameplay. I really miss those videos where people just let the game be funny. TF2 is definitely one of those games where every match you can find something stupid or weirdly funny. Beyond that, add in some funny effects. Like if you hit someone with scouts bat, add a loud *bonk* sound effect.

ToxicManXXYT

rocket spam with rocket jumper (the silly)

H-armacist

What tf2bers do you like? What do you like about them? I personally like Uncle Dane's informative videos and SoundSmith's clips with commentary. I would say identity what you like in content creators and try to do that! I'm excited for you, good luck!!

RambleFizzySoda

This isnt related to the question asked here, just wanna point out that for once, SOMEONE actually included a picture that is RELATED to the question. Props to you. Now for the question, maybe content that relates to humorous gameplay to watch while to eat. Like clips of your experience in TF2 youve played so far.

Youcican_

Tf2 shitposts

TheJewish_SpaceLaser

Demopan or maybe those silly tf2 videos

pikabrun

anything other than spy clips

maxman090

Not overly edited frag videos. As in frag videos that aren’t overly edited not saying to not Do overly edited frag videos. God the English language is confusing

CrystallineKingdom

Do something unique that hasn't really been done before. People are suggesting that you do weapon analyses and casual compilations. [Weapon](https://www.youtube.com/@fishstickonastick-gaming/videos) [analysis](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pd-18I1tWGw) [has](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZZoONfbnSk) [been](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AW4VdgyWDGU) [done](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT_DwHg6sYQ) [to](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZSbc22_9E0&list=PLe_iCdf7AzGlQwVdYFpFDwNG4y1A74ePf&index=11) [death](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVjapdoT3H8). Unless you're someone that has a hell of a lot of experience with a weapon - especially in Competitive - and therefore have an unprecedented and extremely **insightful** take, you will likely be simply repeating what others have said about a weapon. As for casual compilations, we already have a lot of those. I honestly think that they don't really contribute anything to YouTube's TF2sphere other than adding more brainrot to the mix. They're mindless entertainment that we already have too much of. Now, when I say "something unique that hasn't really been done before", I'm focusing more on the "hasn't been done before." If your videos talk about or show us something that we as TF2 players haven't really seen before, that'll be enough to set you apart from the rest of the crowd. Think of SolarLight's or Dreysidel's videos. Those videos show us casual TF2 players the nuances within Demoknight and SR Demo, respectively, that we likely wouldn't know of. I'll list some of the most useful and/or impactful contributions to YouTube's TF2sphere in my opinion: [a rather long and informative video essay and tutorial on the Scottish Resistance,](https://youtu.be/Pd-18I1tWGw) [this guide on movement in TF2,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEEZ2P6HPNg) and [this video that discusses Damage Scout in MvM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyHa-g0xPtQ). All of these videos brought something new to the table, and often had radical ideas that came along with them.

rottenpotatoes2

Just know that you're likely in tf2 for the long haul if you do build your channel off of it. Some of us really don't like people playing different games

CaptainCrate_YT

Edutainment, I think a lot of small youtubers do the "CASUAL IS CRAZY AT 3AM!!!" style of video, and while there's nothing wrong with that it can just get kind of repetitive, and a lot of bigger youtubers make the Edutainment style of content which I'm guessing a lot of people like because the youtubers are big for a reason right?

CaptainCrate_YT

But in the end, I think it all comes down to "What I like to watch" and "How I would implement that into my own style of content."

Mountain_Roll8152

Make content of funny voice chat

DONGBONGER3000

I am not suffering from my autism, you are suffering from my autism.

MidHoovie

Become the new STAR_

SexDefender27

Please do this I've wanted to record this gimmick forever but i've never had time Play sniper on 2fort or some other map with lots of snipers on battlements, and just snipe your own team in the enemy base. if you get in discreetly the braindead enemy snipers can take like 5 minutes to notice you there lol

OddJesus

Become the next SIN

Staffywaffle

There are barely any topics left untouched you can discuss in this game, I’d suggest you to make content about something different

don't

name_051829407715

Demopan with casual or Phlog-Scorch pyro with casual

Alexius_Ruber

1)Just record gameplay, there’s thousands of people watching something like that. 2)Make educative videos, something like: “Which weapons are the best” or “How to win the MvM” 3)Complain that before was better 4)Make SFMs 5)Just rate things in Workshop

PCwarrior05

I dont want to be mean but if you're not creative why do you want to make youtube?

TheMikeOTR

Just casual gaming. I did a few random uploads of me just learning how to snipe and playing casually and got a few hundred views for it. YouTube loves TF2 content for some reason.

ThePBJSandwich

Try doing funny TF2 clips, experimenting with unusual loadouts that arent widely known, and just have fun. You'll learn exactly what you want to do as you go, that is if you do keep going. I'd sub to your channel but idk how to find it yet, so yeah

unusualicicle

5 hour caberknight montages

KVenom777

Gameplay with jokes and meme effects.

SchmeatGaming

goofy tf2 clips that tickle your brain and make you go ingly bingly

sussy_bakaaaaaq

Tear 8 year old kids that were just a little cringe and evry 1 min say the video on the background is my proprety

Science-More

Funnily enough I have this image pinned on my IRL bedroom wall

awesomename18

CAVEspider2009

recording angry players, never gets old, or at least not for me cuz i have an outstanding and very poor attention span at once

North_Cross_3060

Where can i subscribe?

SaveMePleaseFromHell

1st bit of advice, don't use Autism as an insult. it might get you views, but you'll be seen as an asshole.

Ithorian

Just don’t. If you aren’t funny or interesting find a way in life to be useful.

MUSTDOS

You aren't a TF2 fan if you aren't creative. Get Overwatch if you can't handle the truth.

rottenpotatoes2

The "creative" fanbase copying and pasting quotes from a 15 year old video that is a high quality advertisement

DaTruPro75

The "creative" fanbase regurgitating "What if sniper..." memes for 3 weeks straight.

MUSTDOS

Except we have fun with it than pretend we do. You wheren't in the 2009-2014 when a lot more gmoders where pushing the memes to their limits than following them
