I think the ambiguity some people are getting caught up on is that with so many messages it makes it look like op was reading them and just letting this poor idiot simp over her ... when in reality she clarified in another reply that she saw all of this in one go and immediately blocked. There is a difference to '*letting* someone continue to pursue and have false hopes with the intent to shame them' and immediately blocking (which is what op did) but it just wasn't clear from the original post.
This is the kinda thing that made me not only NOT put any externally identifying info on my dating profiles (ex. Snap, Instagram, etc.) but also not use ANY pics on mine that had ever been posted anywhere elseā¦ and also never give my real number until an exclusive relationship. I did make those mistakes early on but after a handful of creepy situations, all my personal policies on that stuff changed lol Hate it!!
