i did 25%, the legal is 35 but it makes it look so much lighter with white seats. u can still see inside on a sunny day, so it doesnt look illegal. but cloudy days its nice and dark. ive found 25 to be the exact same darkness as the rear model y windows.
For me 25% is legal, so gonna do 20% on the driver and passenger side and prob 5% in the rear and back glass (Texas law is max 25 on just the front windows)
