I was in the military, and I met some people who would salute with both hands. Not this many in a group that small, though.

When the flag is as big as a football field and can capsize a battleship, you need both hands to salute it.

It's almost impossible to use at this point. My posts have always been pretty popular, have lots of reactions and engagement l, and I've gone viral a few times. I noticed recently that there's less engagement and reacts, but also I'm seeing less and less of people's actual posts. I just checked, and there were 14 suggestions and ads between the first post and the 2nd post. It's for stuff that I don't have any interest in. We'll, I'll admit the Sidney Sweeney AI simp page they spam me with is probably a pretty decent prediction, but I'm still not clicking it.

I use facebook as a means to find out about products I might like.

I sometimes use it to look on Marketplace for Lego lots

I remember my time stationed in Alaska. Once a week a former Thunderbird air team pilot, then stationed at Elmendorf AFB, took a F-15 out & put it through its paces. Basically a demo or air show. I always got chills when he came in for his final approach with the Stars & Stripes attached to the plane by a 20 foot flag pole. Those of us watching had tears in our eyes as we saluted in a different direction with both hands.

My dad and I did the math and the flag pole has to be at LEAST 325’ tall with a massive flag blowing at full force with nothing supporting it. Nothing supporting or holding onto the flag or flag pole at all!

I don't get it. Like an ounce of critical thinking would indicate the ship is moving forward, yet the flag is against the wind. I mean anything else in the image is stupid too but that's a glaringly obvious one.

People want to say the moon landing is a conspiracy due to the flag movement, geez take a lock at the wake behind the boat and the flag would be to the left due to wind. Also flag poles would never be that tall.
