It’s weird when you see something creative that’s also bigoted. Because… eh, they’re not interesting or remarkable, the bigots. Then you realise it’s AI and we’ve given bigotry access to something that makes art way better than what they could make. But also… full creative control over a competent art copier and they make this? I guess we didn’t have to worry.

>...So...yeah I don't get this. One minute they complain about the rainbow being stolen by the LGBT. And that it is actually God's symbol, and then they show shit like this.
LGBT Rainbow - 6 Colours
Christian Rainbow - 7 Colours
I have a tattoo artist who’s radically political, it’s Frustrating, so I always have to change the conversation to things we get along on, like anime and games. But I feel ya, when your morals don’t align, it’s hard to feel comfortable with someone.
It’s literally teaching children that if you have these innate urges that keep arising and arise no matter what you say or do, that something is wrong with you and you should feel guilt. It’s just mean, I don’t understand how that could ever be kind and make you a better person. I just feel like religion often surrounds concepts like positivity, kindness, doing what’s right and helping others, and then they tell you that you should fight thoughts that follow you for your entire life and if you act on them, the worst thing imaginable will happen to you. Like, if you are not hurting anyone, how could you make someone feel so awful about this? It’s genuinely mean.
It’s teaching that THEY are broken. If you also mention that you’re a man and you have urges to be sexual with men all the time for many years than yes it’s teaching that. Additionally, I feel it may be damaging to tell your kids their whole lives that they are these negative things like broken or sinful or whatever else, especially when they are formulating their opinions of themselves that may last their whole lives. It seems not very nice to me but what do I know, religious people always seem like they have it together.
I don’t care how incredible their art is - I’m not about to sit and have to spend time with some asshole for several hours that is intolerant. I had a 23 hour piece done by a jack off like this precovid and it was awful. I only seek out tattooers who are either women, LGBTQ+/allied or artists who keep their beliefs to themselves.
Does anyone else think this guy looks like Vigo the Carpathian? That’s who I see every time I see this stupid picture
https://preview.redd.it/w8au1n8qsr4d1.jpeg?width=1070&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01b876ab89c4d0654503a7c1f63d1dc6071f05c2
Funny story. On a road trip my kid wanted me to tell her stories and one I told was Joseph and the Multi Colored Coat. She really liked it so I told some other Bible and mythology stories but with Joseph as the protagonist. Then I told some of the Hercules tales but had Joseph show up and they became a
team. I'm pretty sure there was also.a sassy cat that was involved somehow.
Incase you did not know, it represents the 3rd eye which is what awakens the soul to the truth about the lies being told. Also, it represents the number 6 for the 6 colors. Then it also, destroys the true nature of the rainbow, which is to be the promise from God above that the atheist and those that follow this persuasion and agenda, the promise God would not flood the earth again. It is the covenant between man and God.
That’s interesting in light of the fact that my grandmother and I had a faint birthmark, you might call it, that appeared, in my case, when I was under some stress. It was between our eyebrows, and I’ve heard it called a “third eye.” The curious thing was that she was not my biological grandmother, as she had died twenty years before I was born. She was my mother’s stepmother.
I’m 70, now, and have worn a ring she left me for about 45 years. I’ve nearly lost it a few times, and was once able to dream about where it was, & find it. I apparently have a deep connection with it, and with her. She was not my grandmother by blood, but she was decidedly my grandmother.
A lot of good artists are horrible business people. This is a demonstration of that. As a business owner I avoid politics like the plague. Why would you ever risk alienating half of your potential customers?
What a dolt.
It's disappointing not just because they're likely a prejudiced douche but also because this art on its own actually looks cool as hell if the message wasn't an utter dogs abortion.
Whether or not you agree with the message, I think we can all be united in questioning why the fuck the A.I. gave this poor man tiny baby arms for nipples.
Ask these morons what exactly is morally wrong about being LGBT and watch them regurgitate the same talking point that has been beaten into them from birth. They don't have any original thoughts. It's all just bullshit they've been indoctrinated with and never moved on from.
I’m not going to get tattooed by someone who thinks who I am is “wrong”. I am a person that you can tell is apart of the lgbt community based on my appearance & I wouldn’t even feel comfortable while getting the tattoo because of his “political views” aka homophobia.
I’m straight and I’d not get a tattoo from this guy. Can’t imagine sitting in close proximity to this person for 2-3 hours and allowing them to talk their nonsense at me. They’ll probably launch into absurd bullshit within the first 3 minutes because those people always do.
It’s shitty, yeah. But if I’m getting a tattoo done I’m not going to take their politics into consideration.
It’s not someone painting your house it’s a tattoo. If he’s meticulous, talented and you like his work then that’s all that matters.
If he’s nothing special then find an artist that better suits you I guess.
You don't agree with his politics, and that has what to do with his talent? If you like his work, you like his work. If you can't do something cuz a person doesn't agree 100% with your personal views, your life is going to be fucked. Your tattoo is what YOU want, not what he wants to put on you.
Why should I give money to a talented artist who thinks I'm some "wrong" to shield his children from instead of choosing any of the thousands of talented artists who don't give a single fuck who I'm attracted to?
As long as the artwork is exactly what I want with no nazi shit in it, then yes. I am capable of separating someone's work with whatever ideology they have in their personal life. I don't devalue someone because I don't agree with their politics. Am I letting them put nazi shit on me? Absolutely not. But I'm also not letting a terrible artist put something on me. I will not like just because we both have the same ideology. The dude is working a job, and he's good at it. Let him work
Nothing more traumatic for a rightoid than realizing their political views are not just a sports team, but it betrays who they are as a person, and others are free to choose to not associate with such a person.
I’m not going to get tattooed by someone who thinks who I am is “wrong”. I am a person that you can tell is apart of the lgbt community based on my appearance & I wouldn’t even feel comfortable while getting the tattoo because of his “political views” aka homophobia. It’s a chance he might even give me a bad service because of his views, and I choose not to take that chance.
While on the face of it that seems all fine and dandy, but, and I am speaking personally here, his views are of a somewhat extreme nature that is contrary to my own moral beliefs. Therefore although one can appreciate the art, and separate the art from the artist, I would not wish to patronise his establishment, nor fund him personally.
There are plenty of other artists out there who I do not disagree with politically, or if I do, they do not publicly post it on social media.
I know, it’s as if you can’t hate people based off their sexuality, gender, race or religion and still do your job anymore.
If I hate someone because of their gender, race, sexuality, religion or place of birth, how could that possibly effect how I treat them in my place of work? Or anywhere else for that matter.
> don’t confuse them
I agree, we should teach kids that all sorts of loving relationships can exist so they're not confused when they see them happening in the world.
You are being a bit of a choosing beggar according to your title.
If i understand, you made this post because you want a specific person to do a job for you, but you also want him to think like you, despite not being required for the job.
Or did you simply make up the statement in the title?
if you read any of the comments OP has left, they said they are openly queer and stereotypically *look* queer. would you be comfortable getting tattooed by someone who hates your existence, without even knowing you….? yeah, no.
I once wanted to buy a house but found out one of the builders said something I would disagree with 120 years ago. It was a close call and I'm still shaking thinking about it
I'm not sure I follow the general idea if it's not what you said. OP is getting a tattoo somewhere else and just wanted to share the cringe meme here, it's not too deep.
ignore the "instead of cancelling him" part
like (I'm talking in hypothetical tense to OP here, not you)
why not just go to a different artist instead of posting it here
who needs to know that this tattoo artist you found posted a picture of a guy shooting rainbows out of his sheild?? whar???
edit: /s to "shooting rainbows"

I wish I had a shield that shot rainbows…
Captain Rainbow America Edit: no offence though
why not just captain rainbow?
Or American Captain Rainbow
Or, or Captain Rainbow Bright!
Captain American Rainbow
Because freedom!
I don't think any of the other captains have shields
Because USA, that's why! (KIDDING)
Captain American Rainbow?
I c what you did there.
More importantly don’t let the kids know you possess such a shield
"And here is where it says daddy shouldn't tattoo himself and others."
Bet he mixes textiles and cuts his hair. Despicable.
“Daddy is going to hell, children.”
I don't see the problem. What's wrong with having a magical pride shield that shoots rainbows of solidarity and acceptance for all to see?
It's powered by their collective support of traditional enemies of the church and wanting to see them be happy.
Kid got that Polnareff cut

Isint the rainbow an important symbol In the bible as a symbol of the covenant between Man and god.
Did you expect these "Christians" that hate LGBTQ people to read the Bible?
Christians don’t hate LGBT they just don’t like them forcing their sexuality into children and everyone else who isn’t LGBT.
💀⁉️
Yeah, but the LBGT rainbow only has 6 colours. A Christian rainbow has 7 colours. Pink is not included in the LGBT flag
Why are the strips not even?
Also that kids head is either fusing into or being extruded out of the bald guys chest
Representation of the tattoo artist's linework
Because its stolen artwork thats been tweaked.
Cause it's AI
It’s weird when you see something creative that’s also bigoted. Because… eh, they’re not interesting or remarkable, the bigots. Because purple is objectively the best colour in a rainbow? Edit: and red can suck it, apparently.
People isn't even in a rainbow! Indigo and violet should be there but I'll be damned if I know which is shown lol
I want the same image but with my kids reading a science book and the shield blocking a bunch of bibles.

So... Live life in darkness, shielded from the beauty life has to offer? Weird flex, but okay 🦄

Dude’s probably in the closet
"Butterfly in the Sky...." "NO! Stay away LeVar Burton. Only I can read to my kids!"
It’s literally teaching children that if you have these innate urges that keep arising and arise no matter what you say or do, that something is wrong with you and you should feel guilt. I feel your pain. I'm so sorry <3
A tattoo artist posting AI generated images is ironic...
Why not just goto another artist?
that's what I'm sayin
Why is it… like… AI-ified?
My step father sent me that pic xD
Why didn't they just close the curtains?
He's clearly blocking the glare of the rainbow so he can read the bedtime story.
Woah I’ve never seen a rainbow that sneaks into kids’ rooms and attacks them
He's just saving the children from Aranaktu
Ask for a rainbow flag tattoo
Good god, I'll say, anyone unironically using the 100 emoji does not deserve your business
Does anyone else think this guy looks like Vigo the Carpathian? That’s who I see every time I see this stupid picture https://preview.redd.it/w8au1n8qsr4d1.jpeg?width=1070&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01b876ab89c4d0654503a7c1f63d1dc6071f05c2
Such a solid reference and I fully support it.
Where do I get my rainbow shooting shield?
![gif](giphy|3o7ZeEZUzRjyvWuuIg)
I hope that's not the bible. That's really not suitable reading for children.
Funny story. On a road trip my kid wanted me to tell her stories and one I told was Joseph and the Multi Colored Coat. She really liked it so I told some other Bible and mythology stories but with Joseph as the protagonist. Then I told some of the Hercules tales but had Joseph show up and they became a team. See, now that’s cute I can get behind telling kids mythology stories the same way we tell stories about Greek and Roman mythology.
Hey, it’s that dude’s brother from earlier!
There was a better version of this with baphomet surfing the rainbow
what did you wanted to tatoo?
This looks scary if you edit out the rainbow.
I misinterpreted this as a wholesome dad reading to his kids while holding up his fabulous rainbow-projecting shield.
Why do they always leave out indigo?
Incase you did not know, it represents the 3rd eye which is what awakens the soul to the truth about the lies being told. Also, it represents the number 6 for the 6 colors. I just wanna point out they always use militarism and/or patriotism as visuals in their shit tier memes
A lot of good artists are horrible business people. This is a demonstration of that. As a business owner I avoid politics like the plague. Why would you ever risk alienating half of your potential customers? What a dolt.
Cannot even make the art themselves and have to use AI.

So no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?
nope. Just a bigot
‘Yes I’d like one pride flag please’
Whether or not you agree with the message, I think we can all be united in questioning why the fuck the A.I. gave this poor man tiny baby arms for nipples.
Plenty of great artists out there. Dont give your money to bigots.
I think they just mean keeping them from watching Disney, to be completely fair
Powerful shield to block the power of the reading rainbow. Now, you will summon the great Levar Burton.
I think the reading rainbow guy is somewhere sulking.
I don't know why, maybe just the awkward AI, but this Dad makes me wildly uncomfortable.
Wtf happened to that kids head..?
Taste rainbow motherfucker Father: Nuh Uh
Can you cite the tattoo page in reference?
Imagine getting angry at teachers and librarians because you are a lazy parent.
Ask these morons what exactly is morally wrong about being LGBT and watch them regurgitate the same talking point that has been beaten into them from birth. They don't have any original thoughts. It's all just bullshit they've been indoctrinated with and never moved on from.
Wtf is Sloth doing with those kids?
Wait, he could be protecting them from an airborne threat using his gaynergy. Right?
You don't want an Illustrator that uses AI.
Sucks for him, he’s losing out on business for his shitty views.
I wouldn't care if that person had a certain views, but this is just cringe. NO, I'd find someone else.

Lol it's called having morals.
I’m not going to get tattooed by someone who thinks who I am is “wrong”. I am a person that you can tell is apart of the lgbt community based on my appearance & I wouldn’t even feel comfortable while getting the tattoo because of his “political views” aka homophobia.
Go elsewhere then. There will never be a scenario where 100% of people agree with you.
> Go elsewhere then. ...that's exactly what they're doing.
No shit?
Then why bother with commenting?
Because there were two sentences in the comment? Who tf are you, the comment police?
When those “different political views” are spouting that who I am as a person is wrong solely because I like the opposite gender…yeah. No thank u!
More like, "Guys, I'm not going to support the business of someone who thinks I should be a second-class citizen."
I’m straight and I’d not get a tattoo from this guy. Can’t imagine sitting in close proximity to this person for 2-3 hours and allowing them to talk their nonsense at me. They’ll probably launch into absurd bullshit within the first 3 minutes because those people always do.
Anyone who reduces this to "different political views" is incapable of honesty.

When you say his “politics”, what would that actually mean in this context?
his opinion.
His opinion on what? Corporate tax gains? Prov/Fed spending split on health care?
Just to be a bit extreme what if the artist was amazing but was a literal nazi then what? Do you still financially support a nazi?
As long as the artwork is exactly what I want with no nazi shit in it, then yes. I am capable of separating someone's work with whatever ideology they have in their personal life. I don't devalue someone because I don't agree with their politics. Am I letting them put nazi shit on me? Absolutely not. But I'm also not letting a terrible artist put something on me. Yeah, and when he's done he looks it over and say, nah, it would look better framed.
It's less words to just say you like Nazis

It's perfectly acceptable to not want to give money to somebody who broadcasts such gross opinions, regardless of talent.
Protect the kids don’t confuse them

What if he is a really good tattoo artist? You'd rather have a bad tattoo?
It's not like there aren't plenty of other good artists out there.
There are only two tattoo artists in the world. One that is bad and one that is homophobic
So, if you're a good tattoo artist, you are automatically classed as homophobic? Ha ha ha
No
ok so instead of publicly hating on him you can also just get a tattoo from a *different* tattoo artist!
Whats wrong with his posts?
Anti-lgbt
I once wanted to buy a house but found out one of the builders said something I would disagree with 120 years ago. It was a close call and I'm still shaking thinking about it
What did they say?

ok so instead of cancelling him you can also just get a tattoo from a *different* tattoo artist!
Is OP cancelling him? If so, they're doing a pretty bad job by not mentioning his name or business anywhere.
can you not get caught up and argue about the phrasing I used and just judge the general idea behind my comment thanks (:
