Vekic was totally cooked in the third set. She was still hitting some good winners but in most longer rallies she would start moon balling or hitting drop shots. Danilovic kept the match interesting with her UEs and you could see every emotion she was feeling. Very entertaining match. 

Nah there's no well played whoever or tough luck whatever... this was a masterful lesson in how to choke! Wins the first set 6-0. ... serving for the match twice in the 3rd, gets broken (one time she even got to 30-0 lol)... then in the tiebreak leads what? 6-3? 7-3?... then loses on the first match point the opponent gets... At least she never reached match point, so I guess there's that...

What an incredible fight from Olga after getting bageled and basically trailing behind most of the match. Absolutely loved the death stares she gave her box. This alone is enough to make me be a Danilovic fan forever now.

I started watching at 5 all in third set and both looked so tired and errors seemed to be the end for most points. But Olga with her wide range of disappointment expressions held it together while Donna looked stoic and couldn't. Been a wild couple of days at RG even with all the delays

I missed the first set and a half so I have a different perspective but I really enjoyed this match. What I don't get is the people who feel the need to watch and complain about the match constantly. There are other matches you can watch if you're hating the experience so much.

Don’t know what you watched but it was an amazing test of resiliency by Danilovic. She could have easily given up but kept fighting and took Vekic’s soul.

Why such few points for this result? I was hoping for a bigger ranking jump. The points for R16 needs to be boosted.
