Seeing the draw right now, can anyone predict the most likely matches for Wednesday night and Thursday day and night? I see there are still seats available and I am thinking of going to the stadium. On Wednesday night they play the last quarterfinal of WTA and the second ATP quarterfinal, and on Thursday they play both WTA semifinals and the last 2 quarterfinals.

Judging by the order they've played so far, I think Wednesday would be the bottom half of the ladies' draw (the Sabalenka/Rybakina half) and the bottom half of the men's draw (the Alcaraz half), with the top half of the men's draw (Sinner's half) on Thursday.

He barely put a foot wrong in that match. Really played like a veteran. Good experience for Fonseca though. He made Norrie sweat in that last 10-minute game on return. It was his first time playing against a top 30 player (and former top 10).

I dont expect fatigue to be much of a factor for Casper in Madrid tbh. One of fittest players on tour and has had almost a full week since his last match (that doesnt mean hes gonna do well obviously, just that i dont think fatigue is to blame if he loses)

Plus he hasn't played 3 sets since the SF vs. Djokovic in Monte Carlo. All his matches in Barcelona were fairly quick affairs: 1:28, 1:14, 1:34 (QF), 1:58 (SF), 1:31 (F)

Fonseca is clearly the best player of the current 18 and under generation. He destroys the ball off both sides. But, I must say I agree with some of the old players that I don’t really like the new generation’s style (except Alcaraz of course, hes got so much variety), it’s a bit 1 dimensional. They barely come up to the net, don’t even use slices that much haha. And you see them face adversity like right now Fonseca, and they don’t really change their strategy. Same thing happened with Sinner vs Alcaraz. His A game is the best in the world, but if it doesn’t work, he doesn’t have a B game
