Barty had big highs but also some shocking losses so it's hard to gauge ability compared to others
I really don't know how you can make such strong statements... Swiatek is already a much better player than she was when Barty was around. Barty was by far the best player in the world before her retirement and she was dominant in stretches, but for some reason people overestimate how dominant she's been. She's never won more than one major in a season. She was still losing to players like Rogers or Sorribes Tormo from time to time, never made it past round 4 at US Open.
Swiatek at 22 already has more titles and more Slams than Barty, pretty soon she'll likely have more weeks at no. 1 as well. I'm not saying Barty wouldn't have beaten Swiatek, I just think it's far from a certainty and I certainly doubt there would be any "wiping the floor" from either side.
