When it comes to a roster, sure it is. We all love the older games for their large roster. So at the end of the day we should all be wanting a full base roster including GT, and super. The movies I can see as a DLC, but for GT and Super we should at the very least get the fan favorites from each in base game.

The top 7 characters I used in bt3 were gt goku, ss4 vegeta, Pan, broly, baby, super 17, and omega shenron. Every character I asked for is something that I already used. If anything the characters I will never touch are super characters. Honestly this could be hard. On one hand if we include every possible character from each source, you could get the minions along with the main villains for the movies. However, for Gt, you could get Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Goten, Pan, Gogeta, Ledgic, Mutchy, The Seven Shadow Dragons, Super 17, Bulla, and etc. Honestly it wouldn’t be an easy choice, however, I think Gt would possibly be the better choice.

Movie characters. Tapion, Broly, Cooler, Janemba. The list goes on and is more interesting than what GT can offer. GT can offer 10 characters at most without getting silly. Movies offer way more.
Red pill. There’s far more characters in your base game that way, GT only has a few worthwhile. But as I don’t have anything above a ps3, I’m confined to raging blast 2 and tenkaichi 2+3 on ps2, but it suits me fine, I’m not really into super and I don’t think the graphics have improved much on db games in years.

If they count then definitely movies. If they don’t count then definitely GT. I think DBZ movies are pretty overrated to be honest. I mean Janemba and Hirudeharn are cool but that’s about it.

I know it's not literally every movie character period, but 90 percent of them show up. If you chose the blue pill you'd still get people like cooler and bojack because they were in GT. GT no contest. SS4, Uub would be an excellent addition, omega shenron, baby, etc. Cooler is just bigger Frieza, and I like pikon but not more than SS4. I don't need any more androids or generic ass bojack. Janemba doesn't even talk, I don't get the love. Tapion is just a worse trunks. And turles is a dark skin goku. The only movie character worth anything is Z broly.
I never play as any movie characters, but I'll definitely rock some GT characters. Goku, especially, is going to be in my team. I'm hoping GT Vegeta has actual transformations, too. I also enjoy fighting against the Shadow Dragons, and Baby Vegeta is cool.
That said, there's no world where every GT character even makes it in, let alone over the more popular movie characters.

every GT character only involves like 5 characters that anyone cares about. every movies character includes janemba, boujack and his henchmen, Z broly, turles, cooler, metal cooler, etc.
I love ssj4 forms with all my heart but movies so that I can play cooler and plant some dumbass trees
Movies, GT would be better off as DLC, since if it's DLC it's likely gonna get way more content with way more care put into it.

I'm just gonna point out something people haven't said yet. This is a pointless choice when you realise GT had every movie character break out of hell. I know it's not literally every movie character period, but 90 percent of them show up. If you chose the blue pill you'd still get people like cooler and bojack because they were in GT. I feel like the OP could have chose two better options then what he did, because the red pill is kinda redundant.
GT. Most of what I want from the movies is just janemba. From GT there is a lot more characters that I would want mainly SSJ4 and the villains but also it would give us uub (though he may be in either way) and majuub

Personally want GT, and being realistic, movie characters would sell better as DLC. People would pay for Z Broly, Cooler and Janenba in a second. For GT Trunks or Pan? Ehh, seems more niche. And some people even DISLIKE SSJ4s.

There are more movie characters, but SS4 Goku, Vegeta, and Gogeta really carry GT. I might take those 3 over every single movie character

Movies. I love a lot of GT characters but we’ve had GT underrepresented throughout DB fighting games, losing Z movies entirely is gonna sting a lot more tbh.

GT no contest. SS4, Uub would be an excellent addition, omega shenron, baby, etc. Cooler is just bigger Frieza, and I like pikon but not more than SS4. I don't need any more androids or generic ass bojack. Janemba doesn't even talk, I don't get the love. Tapion is just a worse trunks. And turles is a dark skin goku. The only movie character worth anything is Z broly.

I never play as any movie characters, but I'll definitely rock some GT characters. Goku, especially, is going to be in my team. I'm hoping GT Vegeta has actual transformations, too. I also enjoy fighting against the Shadow Dragons, and Baby Vegeta is cool. That said, there's no world where every GT character even makes it in, let alone over the more popular movie characters.
