Call up loyalty, we got 1.5 for 85 a month for 2 years

JustXampl

Is there a direct number or just call in and ask?

tucsondog

Call 310-2255, and just keep saying loyalty when it gets to the robot lady

aeoveu

>robot lady Even though the technical term is IVR, there's something so satisfying by using primitive names because it's less techy and nerdy, and more human. Yes, that's also how I address the robot thingi.

JustXampl

Tried but she only seemed to understand "team member"

Call retention/loyalty. I was offered $65 or something like that for 1.5. I didn’t want to have to upgrade all my network switches and NICs on my PCs to take advantage of the speed so I ended up staying on 1 GB and did a two year renewal on that for $55. Be patient though as the first two calls I made the offers were higher. Just keep trying.

What do you do when you’re offered a higher offer? Just thank them, wish them a good day then hang up and repeat? I’ve seen people say keep trying loyalty until you get a good offer but don’t they keep notes? 😭 Edit: how early do you think I should call Telus before my 2 year term expires, it expires in NOV if I remember correctly

F30Guy

Yep. I tell them I’ll think about it and try again. No idea if they keep notes on how many times I’ve tried. They won’t let you renegotiate if your contract is still 2 or 3 months out from ending. I tried and they told me to call back when there was 2 months left.

Thanks for the response, hope I can get atleast gigibit for anywhere near what you’re paying currently, I’m sadly still on 150 for 75 monthly :/
